Works great. I read so many reviews of dash cams where people are frustrated by the operation. I've had this for about six months with no issues. Have it hardwired so that it records when the car is parked. LTE connectivity is great and works without drama.

2 things:  LTE is an expensive subscription. And I wish the cam was 4k, resolution really does matter when you're reviewing video to read a license plate. And finally, should work with a rear camera in Garmin lineup with wireless communication to the main unit so that you don't need two of these each with their own radio to get front and rear.

Solid dash cam

It's finally good to be away from my car and still see what's going on around it I have always loved the Garmin Dashcam with this one just completes what I want in a Dashcam and I'm happy that I'm still able to go get a brand. I've always used and have that feature.

Breath of fresh air

I have had the Dash Can Live for about a month now.  It's so nice to be able to view the camera from anywhere and see what's going on.  Connectivity is very reliable and setup is easy.  I would definitely recommend!

Love this new Dash Cam

I have not used it in my pickup yet. 1st DashCam Live would not link to Garmin Drive app. Did a warranty, finally got a second one. Getting ready to install in Pickup. Send another review in 6 months after purchase date. So people can have a useage Review of purchases!

Like what I see

Works as stated but took some research to get the LTE service working and communicating with app.

I like the features of the Live View, being able to look through the camera while dining out at a restaurant.  The travelapse feature is neat. Kept a copy from a camping trip with my Dad. Sometimes though I get a warning that the SD card is slowing down and the device wants to reformat it. Thought maybe it was an issue with the 16gig SD card that came with it so I upgraded to a high end Samsung 512 gig SD card but still get the warning.  Hoping a software upgrade will fix that soon.

Love the live view

Connection issues, freezing up and short clips only are still limits and short comings I am not thrilled with. Defiantly an improvement over the last models but I expect way more from Garmin than this. Picture is great! The sound i mute. Looks good. Cant get voice commands to work and yes it is turned on. I think i need to put and equal competitor next to it to see how it compares to others. I think with better software this unit could be the best out there but with the non stop locking up and not working I would not recommend it at this time.

Glitchy but better than older models

The support app either Express or Drive is limited, the camera and memory card plus LTE and WIFI are all there however reliability of constant link and picture or video is not much left to be desired

Poor Support App

I've had this camera for over a year and I started having issues with connection so they sent a different one and I am now having the same problem with this one and I was told they didn't know how long till it would be fixed

Issues

Cons: - This camera does not capture a wide picture range. - LTE connection often drops making the live streaming feature nonfunctional. - There is no continuous recording when driving only “incident detection” recording. - When deleting old videos you have to individually select each file for deletion, you cannot select all. 

Pros: - The camera is small/not bulky.

Dishonorable mention: their customer service also subpar.
