Perfect for my car

Dash cam is very small, so doesn't interfere with your view.  The app is very easy to use as well, and so far has worked perfectly.  Nice to be able to view an event directly on your phone via Bluetooth, without having to remove the memory card or have wifi.   Do not miss not having a screen, really, since the app does that.   Lenses give good all around view.

Compact and easy to use

I could not get it to work properly. I had it plugged into a USB port on my computer. If I had READ THE DIRECTIONS FIRST like it said to do I would have known that it needs the a proper power source and that my computer was not it. It works great now.

Easy to operate!

Returned it and never got my refund

I'd give this 5 stars if I was able to view recordings and live view from my home. That is the only down fall of this dash cam. Other than that, I can see what's going on all around my vehicle and it's great to finally be able to view what's going on from the sides of my car.

Need 4G or some kind of Bluetooth/Wifi booster

I am a loyal Garmin user for 20+ years. GPS navigators are awesome. Now dashcam. Cam47 - I bought 3 and had to return 6 times! Within a week. Then Cam x210.Much more stable architecture and functionalities. Then Tandem. Fortunately its architecture is completely different from Cam47 even  though they were released the same time. Tandem seems stable and robust. Lastly, Garmin Drive app. Worse than the work of CS summer intern! Doesn't Garmin simply don't care about the app? I don't use it. Just use the SD card reader to retrieve video clips.

Awesome except !

I've had this camera for a little while and I like it overall. There are a couple issues though. If I had it powered on continuously (with garmin off power plug) i wasn't able to connect to it at time unless I power cycled the unit. More recently, in the drive app it says there is a firmware update and I have tried several times via the app on my phone and garmin connect on my computer to update the firmware. Every time it is unsuccessful. Reached out to support and nothing. 

Like I said I love the inside and outside recording and overall quality, but the connectivity is an issue.

Quality but some issues

The unit is already failing to turn on intermittently. Otherwise I would've given it five stars when I was working. We'll see how the warranty and our replacement goes. Then I'll update my review.

Started failing after 8 weeks.

I bought two. One for my wife's SUV and one for my pickup truck. Every few starts, they don't turn on at all. You have to unplug them for a few seconds ( sometimes more than once) to have them come to life. 
I hard wired them, updated firmware, bought the right sd cards, rebooted, let them cool down but they are still finicky. 
The connection to the iPhone for live view almost never works. It just won't connect. 
To review the footage, I always have to remove the as cards and put it in my card reader. 
I'll check for other products next time.
