Perfect for runners

Very happy with purchase. My 945 finally gave out after 8 years. Love the many upgrades, screen is awesome, features so many useful additions, metal bezel both functional and adds to the classic look and battery life that has no equal. Well done Garmin.

Big Step Forward

I have had this for over a year, and I love it! It features are great, and I love the suggested workouts that it gives me depending on my training block. Right now I am in a speed block, so having a variety of hard workouts are great to keep it interesting.

Great Features!

I had a Forerunner 45 but decided to upgrade to the 965 since I have a 50k coming up and I wanted the extended battery life and navigation features. The watch has definitely delivered on both fronts and I like how easy it is to get courses on to the watch for my runs. There are plenty of other features but those are the standouts for me relative to my needs.

Love this watch!

Need I say Moore..?

I've been a loyal Garmin user for almost 15 years, and honestly this has been my most frustrating experience so far.

The Forerunner 965 has been extremely disappointing. The stair tracking is completely off — it counts stairs like madness, even when I'm not climbing anything. This isn't a small glitch, it makes one of the core activity metrics basically useless.

I've already tried every tip and recommendation to fix it — recalibration, settings adjustments, resets, updates — and nothing has worked. At this point, it really feels like a defective device, not a user issue.

I've trusted Garmin for years because of reliability and accuracy, but this watch is not meeting that standard at all. It's very frustrating to see such a premium device perform this poorly.
