I purchased this to track heart rate more accurately and to capture activities where I would not / don't want to wear a watch. So far I've had no issues with setting up and using the device. Once it's connected to my fenix 7x pro, it automatically detects it once I put it on. The strap is comfortable as well. You know it's there, but it doesn't bother me. Happy with my purchase.

Accurate Heart Rate Monitor

Garmin

I've been using my new HRM600 for about a month and it's definitely a huge improvement over my old HRM pro +, much more comfortable and accurate. I've been using it every day for about one to two hours a day and it's at 60% battery in the first charge.
Pairs perfectly with my Garmin Fenix 8 Pro and my edge bike computers.

Excellent heart rate monitor

This heart rate monitor gets the job done. Love that it's rechargeable so don't have to worry about batteries. I have it linked to my Garmin edge 530 and it works perfectly. Also link it to my watch when I go running. HSA eligible so it felt like it's free!

Gets the job done!

I've been a Garmin loyalist for years, and the HRM‑600 just reminded me why. The accuracy is unreal, the running‑dynamics data is next‑level, and the step speed loss metric has genuinely tightened up my form and helped me hold pace with way less drift. The strap is tough, comfortable, and the battery feels like it runs forever.

Yeah, it's pricey, that's the one downside. But if you're serious about training, data, and actually improving, it's worth every dollar. I'm genuinely happy I picked it up. It feels like one of those upgrades that pushes you toward the version of yourself you're trying to build.

Garmin Loyalist - HRM 600

Having had a number of HR monitors throughout the many years, including Garmin and others, this is a nice upgrade. I appreciate the rechargeable aspect and as I've used it, it is quite amazing in the battery life area. It's a comfortable strap and seems to work perfectly. My new go-to for HR metrics.

Nice upgrade....

I've had the opportunity to use this monitor for a while now so feel prepared to offer a decent review. As a HR strap user for many decades going back to the first Polar, I've owned and used quite a few. The new 600 is a big step up as the changeability makes it a very easy to use and less stress with battery replacement. I have to say I've been very impressed with the battery life and charging is super easy. As I feel the strap offers far better accuracy than other sensors, this unit is at the top. I use a strap on every ride and run, so these get a lot of wear and like the previous Garmin straps, hold up well to constant use. Buy this one and know your metrics will be accurate and the strap will withstand what you put it through.

Best strap ever; accuracy and ease of use...

I LOVE my HRM 600. After testing and looking at so many other monitors that constantly gave me connectivity headaches—like taking forever to pair with gym spin bikes until I finally gave up—I chose this one.

Initially, I only intended to use it solely for spin class. Eventually, I progressed from that to running, and then on to swimming.

It is completely reliable, works seamlessly with everything every single time, and just handles whatever I throw at it. I am so pleased!

The HRM is perfect it syncs with everything seamlessly each and every time! SO pleased!

From spin class to the pool—flawless connectivity

Haven't leveraged it as much as I wanted to. at least twice I realized i hadn't told it what activity I was doing in the app beforehand and it didn't record the session. My HRM pro just records. I can tell it later what's going on. No button to press, No app to open.

Unless you need the extra features, HRM pro 1st

Do not buy the HRM 600 if you use it for Nordic skiing. I misplaced my HRM Pro and decided to "upgrade" to the HRM 600. Today, I used it for the first time for a skate roller ski workout, no power data on my Enduro 3. I thought it might be a setting on my new HRM. Not so, I should have read the reviews before I forked over the big bucks. Seriously, why remove a feature when you release a new top of the line device?

Does Not Provide Nordic Ski Power :-(

Long time Garmin fan! Just not happy with HR monitors the last three units I have purchased have stopped connecting after 18 months. This HRM 600 so far has been okay but does have connectivity issues. This unit will not pair with my Fenix 6. Disappointing when you want improved running metrics. Garmin tech suggested that my watch is out dated.

Connectivity issues!

Garmin HRM 600 Heart Rate Monitor (XS-S) centered close-up of a black adjustable chest strap with detachable rechargeable module and Garmin logo; shows textile strap texture and snap attachment; provides waterproof real-time heart rate and HRV data and running dynamics (step speed loss); records workouts for later sync to Garmin Connect and is suitable for team-sport sessions when a watch can't be worn.
