This is the 3rd Instinct I've owned. Lost the first and gave away the second. I have loved each one. My first two were tacticals and so while I don't use all the features that the tactical has to offer anymore I decided not to mess with a good thing and I haven't been disappointed. The Instinct is comfortable on my wrist and it's so light it's almost forgettable while working out. Amazingly it doesn't feel cheap either so I would consider the price to be perfect or maybe even generous. With all the features I find myself making simple changes like color and layout but sticking with most default settings because it's an effective and attractive setup. Love the options but appreciate the default functionality. I'll most likely be buying another one when I need to and highly recommend the instinct to everyone. I use it for kickboxing, running, swimming, mountain biking, strength training, hiking and adventure motorcycle bike-packing.

Great watch, many usable features. Like GPS, long-life battery for hiking/camping. Careful when you choose your style. Thought I was buying solar power. Clicked on wrong style. Kept watch because it is still amazing.

Instinct 3 AMOLED

Exactly what I Wanted.  More than I need and simply wanted.  Could I have gotten something much more expensive. . . I hadn't had ‘that much' to drink that evening and my cooler head prevailed.  Garmin is King at this time.  Seiko, Casio, Seiko (Again) and Reactor my previous fixations. . . All still exist in a drawer.  Instinct Gen 1 lasted seven years.  Gonna be sending it in for a check up and Battery Change (it in the end was holding a full charge for about six hours to power off.  Loving Garmin still Instinct 3  -  agin much more than I personally need but my options are wide open.  Scale of One to Five - five.

I bought it a few weeks ago because I wanted to get away from my Apple watch. At first, I might have been a little intimidated because I just didn't know how to use the watch, but now I love it. I still do not know all the functionality the watch has but I am learning. I am glad I made the switch!

Awesome Watch!

I bought this watch for Police Academy and have absolutely loved it! I previously had the Forerunner 265 and I am enjoying the tactical feel and features of the Instinct 3.

Garmin over Apple

I bought this watch and I'm so happy I did. I used to wear a Apple watch Ultra and there is two things that are huge difference. The first is obviously the battery. I would have to charge my apple watch at least everyday if not only 2 days of use. I went 3 weeks and I still had battery of 35%. The second is I use my watch to track sleep as well as my alarm. I have 2 small kids and one that still sleeps in our room so the traditional alarm would wake our child up. So I went with wearing a watch to wake me up from vibrate option. But the weight compared to apple watch was so much better. I would dread having to wear my apple watch because it was uncomfortable because of weight. I never got used to wearing it. Now with Garmin I barely know I'm wearing it at night. Biggest game changer in my option.

Better than Apple

This is an amazing watch. 

The only complaint I have is that it does not have a default strong password lock and unlock, though you can wipe it, with commands though that is not quote clear as to how either.

This aside, screen is bright, battery lasts for weeks and it has stealth modes and quiet modes.

Pretty good.

Great Watch for everything that I do I just wish it came in 52 mm or 53 size Tell for the price, it should have the updated heart rate sensor. Absolutely love, the flashlight.

I purchased this watch about a month ago. So far I love it. It is a little tricky to adjust the settings as I am used to the Apple Watch.

Great watch

Really enjoyed it until a flashing blue triangle appeared and now the device is in a perpetual reboot loop. Device is totally unresponsive. Holding down the light button will not power it down. This never happened with my AW ultra 3.

Less than 30 days and it's dead.
