The only complaint is the lack of mounting options. My trunk bag was blocking the lower portion of the radar beam so cars weren't registering until they were about 50 feet away. I got a third party seat rail attachment but my bag still blocked part of the beam. I then got a clip-on holder that attaches to the rear of my trunk bag but being lower than where it would be on a seat or seat post, it shortens the range to about 100 feet.

Fairly Reliable Radar and Taillight

Works well when using the Varia app on my bicycle's handlebar mounted iPhone with clear visual and audio notifications of traffic behind me as compared to notifications on my Garmin watch. Riding companion verified that tail light can be seen at a much longer distance than typical lights.

bought this a a gift for my wife to add it to her bicycle. i love garmin and this is a must have for every biker. it has break light and sensor to alert you if someone is behind you. it was little tricky to install at first but watching a video actually helped. after that it only took a min or so to install.

love this little guy the battery life is pretty good I think about 8 hours with flashing light and radar detecton had a few false positives but I would much rather have that than a false negative!

Should of gotten it years ago. Gives you that sixth sense when you ride on the busy road.

A must have for a road cyclist

Battery life if shorter than a typical rear light but the radar function is a great addition to my cycling.  It's alerted me to over 1000 cars passing me but only one other cyclist. Godspeed the rider.

It links up and shows how quickly the vehicles are approaching on the head unit. Also it shows each vehicle that's approaching. Very pleased, and a lot fewer surprises while out on the road.
