This tracker is the most accurate one I have used. It picked up on my swimming, but it does not log that as burned calories, it has to be done manually. It has worked well underwater. I love it.

Excellent purchase

I lost my first Vivofit 3, so I ordered another.  I like that it's water resistant and I don't have to take it off to shower.  If you have already synced one, as I did with the first one, you may not be able to sync a second one without deleting the app and reinstalling it.  That's what I had to do.  Keep in mind that it won't record steps on a treadmill or pedaling a stationary bike if your hands are holding the handles.

It is when you workout and is water resistant; you can swim with it.

I got my vivofit 3 at the local WalMart, along with the extended warranty. Too bad I didn't know how the batteries drain. In less than 6 months, I've replaced the battery twice. Garmins only recourse is for me to send it to them, and hope they get around to replacing it. Online CS is no good. You're on your own with Garmin. Don't expect your battery to last a year, stock up!

Not bad, but batteries don't last

I thought it was going to be a good product but after only a month it is acting like the battery is dying. The connect app has been down for maintenance for almost a week so I can't track my progress.  It is no longer keeping accurate time. I bought it because my daughter said her battery lasted a year.
