This band smartwatch does everything I want it for. Counts steps, heart beats, body battery, sleep, pulse oxygen levels, respiration, stress level, calories, besides time, day, date, calendar, weather, and notification about events.

I really like my watch I like that it keeps up with my steps and also use me a sleep log heart rate log and a whole lot more. I like that the watch is Slim and fits my wrist the way I wanted to I like the security of the watch because it has a little prong on it that keeps your watch band from always sleeping out of place.

My vivosmart watch is very nice and easy to use.  I have not had it very long, about a month, so I am still learning how to navigate the features.  My most used feature is the pulse ox.  I use that to monitor my oxygen while both at rest and upon exercise.  The only negative aspect I have run into is it does not hold a charge well.    The charge drops significantly in 3-5 days.  It does charge pretty quickly though.  This is not a major problem for me though.  It works a lot more accurately and is more functional than the Fitbit I previously used.

Better than FITBIT

I really do love garmin. I have progressed from the 3,4,5, not intentionally.  After some time, the watches just stopped working. Thankfully, I have alway purchased through points thru work. I wear the watch all the time and enjoy seeing my stats, ect.  
This is my 4th Garmin. Hopefully, it will last!

Convenient, indiscrete and stylish.

Very well made and operates without problems. Heart rate data is almost as good a the chest band. However, it is a bit hyperfunctional, constantly sending notifications for everything short of when to fart. Also, I have not found how to pause and resume an activity

Works great but hyperfunctional

I am 92 years old, and my kids bought this Vivosmart 5 for me. I had one of their cast-off Vivosmart 3s for a time, and this one is vastly improved. It is a little easier for these old eyes to see the screen, and the band is much better. That said, I cannot really navigate the watch itself, and I rely mostly on the app on my smart phone. I wish I could set up the default screen so it showed what I want to see every time, but I cannot.

I like my Vivosmart 5

I received my watch with unreadable directions to use the watch; the typing was so small and close together that I had to get a magnifying glass just to read. The connection cable is so outdated that I can not find a plug small enough to charge this Garmin. Also, how in the world will I ever be able to see when it needs recharging??

not happy

It started off working really well. The battery was lasting about four days. Then it seems like each time I charge it the battery lasts less,  sometimes only a day and a half without changing settings. It frequently does not record some statistics like sleep even if I have it on %26 adjusted properly to my wrist and the battery is charged. It's somewhat annoying to find some of the features on the watch itself. I wanted to really love this, but if it was less than 30 days from my purchase, I probably would return it. We still use it after paying that much money, but I would not recommend it.
My daughter has a different type of  Garmin and zero problems.

Not worth what it cost

Now that I've registered the same device 10+ times, I have to wonder why it becomes disconnected. I wanted to love this VivoSmart 5 as much as I love my VivoSmart 4, but I don't. It's bigger & bulkier and it disconnects for no reason and I have to go through the entire registration process again & again. Please, please, please just start making the VivoSmart 4 again. Change the colors & give it a new number, but please start making it again. You nailed it with the 4, missed it with the 5. I do like that the 5 can change bands.

Not as good as the old

I bought over a month ago so probably can't return, but basically this watch sucks at tracking the two things i care about most: sleep and steps. I'm postpartum and sleep in three chunks each night; Garmin fails to detect at least one of them most nights. (Fitbit could detect even daytime naps- Garmin could never). Even worse, I just took two long car trips and discovered that the watch records THOUSANDS of steps, even when I sit still, in the backseat, over even ground. So useless! I didn't want to get a Fitbit bc all the data goes to google now, but I probably just should have gotten a Fitbit anyway.
