I got this vivo active 4 from my kids on fathers day several years ago. It functions very well and the layout is very user friendly and intuitive. Battery life is ~4 days. There are lots of free customized watch faces and overall I'm very pleased with this.
I would have liked a small speaker/mic and a small "flashlight" as conveniences. But this is minor.
Like most modern equipment and apps, I am concerned about privacy so I just provide the barest minimum for it to remain functional.

I've had this device for more than a few years during which I've endured severable medical challenges, and it's proven to be invaluable when coupled with the Garmin Connect app.  The Garmin Connect IQ provides most of the customization features that are indispensable.  My only qualification is the clockface crystal that is elevated and prone to scratching way too easily.

Best wearable ever

excellent watch.  Have been a long time Garmin user, and this watch is a nice upgrade.  Garmin connect is an excellent piece of software to track the various activities, including sleep.   Battery life is excellent so far.  I get about 4-5 days of use between charges.

Excellent Garmin device at a reasonable price

Works fine for my needs and is dependable. I am not too sophisticated, using it basically to track walks, runs, and bike runs (Peloton and outdoors), and it works fine. Improvements could be an bluetooth integration for the heart monitor to show on the Peloton bike and battery time (I basically have to charge it every day, or every other day in a best case scenario).

Works fine for basic needs.

First, I don't think it's accurately reading my sleep. It shows excessive amounts of light sleep and little deep sleep with a lot of stress during the night.  While it could be accurate, as I do indeed feel like I'm never fully rested in the mornings, I question the accuracy because of the O2 sat readings.  It's definitely reading my O2 sats wrong.  It says they are as low as 78 overnight.  I can be sitting peacefully taking deep breaths and it shows 92%.  I have a finger pulse oximeter that 100% matches up with my doctor's office and the hospital.  When the watch is showing 92%, my finger shows 99%. I had a lobectomy in the past so I need this reading to be spot on and it's not even close.  I had to turn it off altogether.  Otherwise, I like the ease of use of the watch itself and the app.  I like the battery life of the watch too which is pretty exceptional.  Can I trust all of the readings with what I know about my pulse ox?  Not really.  I wish I knew for sure.

So, if you are familiar with Garmin, you will have no problem with this unit. If you are not, it might be a little much for all the steps of downloading apps, watch faces, etc. I have used garmin for years, so I was ok. The battery life is much better than an Apple watch, but not as good as they claim. I do not like the fact it constantly disconnects from my phone, if not within arms reach. Now, for the good. I love the fact I can hit the trails on a bike and just tap the watch, press start (after finding satellite) and off you go. There are some options I wish it had and others I am glad it doesn't. If you are looking for a good tracker, nice watch, and are familiar with garmin, this is a great purchase.

I like it, but still might buy an Apple Watch too.

Most everything about this fitness watch is positive.  It definitely helps with keeping you motivated, well it does for me anyway.  The battery life is a little disappointing.  If you have most functions that this watch has to offer turned on, then you will get about 2.5 days out of it before you have to charge it.  But the charging time is pretty fast so that is a plus.  Another plus is that you can still operate an iPod/iPhone music library, I dont subscribe to any of the music services that this works with so being able to access the music skips through the watch is a plus.

A lot of info in a small package

This is a pretty good device with a pretty decent amount of features but in my experience, they stop working half as long as they should.  The Garmin people tell me these watches typically last 5 years and I had one for two years which required replacement and now the replacement stopped working after only three years.  Overall, a very decent device but a little disappointing they didn't last longer.

Doesn't last very long

This watch was very obviously preowned. The packaging was atrocious with tears in the plastic wrap and wrinkled instruction manual. The watch itself had white dog or cat hair stuck to it. The charging cord package was ripped. The box was scuffed up beyond belief before being placed into a shipping pack. Now I have to ship it back and wait even longer for a watch from elsewhere.

Why do I have to share my data for the app to work?   It gets tiring when every company wants to collect my data to sell me more crap.  I already purchased the watch and just want the app to work!!   My phone has more than enough storage, why do I have to send my data to garmin for the app to work at all??
