WOW! I've never used this bleach before.  because it was a box brand i wasn't expecting it to lift like it did.  usually bleach burns,  smells bad,  and doesn't lift the darker pigments in my blonde hair.  I'm thrilled! it didn't burn or smell and the included anti brass conditioner left my hair soft and shiny.  get 2 if you have medium length or longer hair.  but,  get it!

This is a great dye. It definitely lightened my auburn hair quite a lot. However I didn’t follow the directions. I’ve died my hair (darker) many times so I thought I could just do it like normal. But bleaching/lightening dyes are different. They process faster at the roots due to the warmth of the scalp. Had I followed the directions, putting it on my roots last, it would’ve been perfect. I learned a lesson.

for those of you saying it turns your hair black, please look up color theory! the darkest black is blue black! i do use this color for black hair but it still has hints of blue in the sun! absolutely love this product and garnier’s box dye in general! it’s much safer than other brands, my hair stays extremely soft, and it smells soooo goodddd!!!!!

I love it!  This color over my natural dark hair color ends up like very deep burgundy instead of a violet dye.  It looks almost natural.  The product does not damaged may hair at all.  Using the right shampoo and conditioner my hair keeps the color for about 9 weeks.  Even the faded color look good.   For me this is an awesome product which deserved to be recommended.

Great product

If you have hit the ceiling on lift and can't break through without fear of damaging your hair or just want to get bright front pieces or a few really bright highlights this is perfect.  It has an oil in it that will make your hair feel so nice after the bleach. I have used professional products- even Olaplex for years and didn't this level of results. I mean Christina Aguilera blonde baby!

i had previously bleached my hair before using this, and went over the brassy color i was left with the first time with this product and got a lighter color that i would be able to tone with a purple shampoo! consistently using my purple shampoo left me with a warmish platinum blonde

I have to state I am a Walmart employee. 

I have to say im super disappointed. I always used this. 
The old picture had a lady with super lighter hair than the actors on the front now and I think they did that for a reason. 
It doesn't work like it used to whatsoever. I used to be able to get old lady level white with this and now at best its staying a darkened yellow, and even with my short hair its barely stretching for half of it.

Something changed.

Love the product,  the packaging from Walmart on my order was bad no inside protective with other products and I had a huge order  placed over 250$ multi boxes shipped poor quality on quality of whoever packed my order this time they just thru all my stuff in a box , boxes and called it good . Alot of my order was damaged,  leaking,  and no good. It amazing cause  most times I have good luck but . And they secure all items that would leak not this time a huge mess . Very unhappy

I bought the platinum blonde hair and it did not work at all!! the chemicals in this made my while sinuses burn and once rinsed out, some hair fell out and i followed the recommended sit time (30 minutes) besides that, only the top part of mt head dyed and it came out yellow.

DO NOT USE!!

I bought this brand instead of my usual blonde lightning product. I read that it was more gentle on hair. However, any of the many hair lighteners/ bleach I have tried over the years, this one is the absolute worst. My roots had only grown out a little and they were medium brown. I followed the directions explicitly and my roots still turned out completely orange. This is even after washing it and using the antipress toner. This brand seems to be considerably weaker than any other brand I've bought even though it says it lifts up to eight levels (which is what I normally buy). Is nowhere near listening? Is five levels after the allotted time. 
I will have to wait several days and then purchase another brand. Continue the lightning process and not damage my hair any further. 
I do not recommend this product at all.
