Ease Of Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this from Jet.com after much searching other websites and found it to be cheaper here. The garrett works very well for pinpoint metal detecting. I am very happy with the product and with Jet.

Excellent pinpointer

jet.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owning 2 of them I find the Garrett Pro Pointer AT easy to use, reliable and dependable.

So good I bought the wife one too!!

garrett-electronics.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with my purchase. Works every well. Being waterproof is the cherry on top!

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had much time to use this yet, but I like the features and the orange color which makes it easy to find in case you drop it in the dirt. My preliminary tests with it show it me it will be useful for pinpointing small finds.

Preliminary review of the PRO-Pointer AT

Have the go knock off pointer and they work well. Saw the garret at pointer and had to have them at the price I paid.

Wanted Garrett pointer

walmart.com

works great lost some screws on my greenhouse due to a wind storm found every one of theme cant wait to find me some goodies.

It was not packaged as I thought, not in a plastic sleeve inside manufacturer box and no 9v battery as it says on the box… disappointed at lack of quality control.

It seems to power thru settings okay but the real test will be in the field.

Lacking Quality Control by Seller.

Had the older style black Garrett pointer it is great but beat up after eight years. Lost a few times in field, wanted to upgrade to orange. New pinpointer: button is stiffer and harder to press, not great if you have any hand/finger pain. Batteries drain much faster. Too many options for sensitivity, I like being able to turn off beeps but the vibration may be draining the battery fast. So I just put my finger over the speaker to muffle it, like I did with the old one. Easy to accidentally hold power button too long and enter sensitivity settings.

More color choices, less features please

According to Garrett, the manufacturer, my Walmart "Garrett Pro-Pointer AT" metal detector is a pirated copy. It doesn't work so I'm trying to return it to Walmart.

Buyer beware - Cheap imitation!

its a fake... this is horrible and garrett is being warned about it..

Garrett Hand Held Waterproof Pro-Pointer AT - Orange centered handheld pinpointer with slim tubular silhouette, bright orange rubberized housing, LED, molded ruler in inches and centimetres, lanyard loop, patented scraping blade and woven belt holster; fully submersible to 20 feet (6 m) with proportional audio and vibration pulse, 360-degree side-scan and single-button control; includes 9V battery. Often used to locate small lost metal fasteners around campsites or in workshops.
