I bought 3 GelPro Elite mats for my kitchen , and my only regret is that I didn't get them sooner! I bought one for my sister as a gift, and she loves hers, too.
When I am in baking mode (which happens too often, according to my waistline), I stand in the kitchen several hours without sitting down. These mats definitely help my back and feet aches. The only problem I have had is that I often trip on them because they are so high. Still, they are worth the tripping! Wish I had planned smarter and had had them for Christmas baking, but I look forward to the next season, knowing I'll be more comfortable. Also I had a great response from Customer Service when I had to contact them.

I bought one electric lime and one tomato shagreen 20 x 36 GelPro Elite Mat, and I'd only be happier if the entire center of my kitchen were made of this substance! I parked one in front of my kitchen sink and one in front of the stove, and the difference has been exquisitely noticeable. I haven't had any back pain while washing my dishes or hovering over pots on the stovetop; whereas, before the mats I would always experience stiffness and pain during these prolonged activities (and also while chopping vegetables, rolling dough, etc.). The colors on the website were also accurate, so I'm pleased about that, too. Thanks for making such a useful product!

Excellent for preventing back pain and stiffness!

Had one in our homefor many years until cleaning lady got the edges soaked which caused the edges to disintegrate; now I bought the new one here for our apartment and it's so cushy and nice to stand on. Didn't realize how much I missed having it till I relaced it again. Am very happy to be back on the gel-pro mat again. Plus, it stays in place.

In each of our homes a key investment, especially in the kitchens, has been GelPro Elite mats.  My wife loves to cook and the relief GelPro products provide and the quality in which they are made "makes a BIG difference" in how she feels.  We have never had a single regret.  Just like having a quality mattress for our beds, good shoes for our feet, having GelPro mats is essential for our lifestyle.

GelPro is well worth the investment!

I have had two Gel Pro Mats in our kitchen since 2008 and I don't know what I would have done without them. Our floors are Saltillo tile and not very forgiving nor comfortable to stand on for long! In planning our floors during the remodel I knew we would have to have Gel Pro mats if we installd this type of flooring. Thanks goodness we have them, I do a lot of baking and cooking, sometimes standing on the mats for hours at a time and they have saved my back, legs and feet I believe - making my cooking experiences possible.

the best for comfort......

I bought this for my niece who is a third grade teacher who has some arthritis.  She spends a lot of her time standing at her white board and her knees begin to ache.  Now she has some comfort from the soft standing surface of the GelPro.  She says she loves it.  Her class got to line up and try it out.  There was lots of oohing and ahhing.  Other teachers in her building have stopped by to check it out.  More oohing and ahhing.  A good purchase for sure.

Save the knees!

I bought this mat for the kitchen and love it when I'm chopping and doing dishes. One issue I have is that it takes a little getting used to because its a bit higher than the floor. So when you are moving around fast in the kitchen, sometimes it gets caught under my feet. But I got used to it!

Feels Great When Standing Still

I received the mats for Christmas. I was delighted as The maps seem to give me more support while working in the kitchen. However the material which they are made of cause food to get in bedded into the cracks and crevices and impossible to keep clean. I am a caterer I found that these are not practical. I would have returned them but they are too heavy and bulky to mail back. I am not satisfied with this product and anybody who does lots of cooking would find these frustrating.

Support but horrible to keep clean

I liked the look of it when received, but not any more. It is only a couple of months old and it gets so dirty (I never had this issue before). It has to be cleaned often and never looks clean. I am a clean person so not sure why (even my housekeeper noted). Also we keep tripping on it since it is so thick, we are older and afraid we will fall. I will replace soon. I regret purchasing.

Paid an exorbitant price for the elite mat, it claims to have a slip resistant bottom & a stain resistant top, I find neither one true, mat moves continually & top of my mat requires alot of elbow grease to remove basic cooking splatters from its surface.
