I absolutely love this spooky doorbell! There are 3 different phrases that it says and they are all equally spooky. I live in a dorm and I put this on my door and I hear it go off 20 times a day! If there was a door decorating competition I'd probably get first place just for this doorbell!

Fun bell

Just a great item! Been playing with it since it came. One minor issue. Since backplate has only one screw, slide on would be easy to be stolen. But still love it, great addition to my decorations.

Great Halloween item

We love this doorbell! It has 4 or 5 recordings on it to make any Halloween a real scream. We now have 2 for different doors.

Halloween fun

What the picture doesn't show is that the eye is closed until you push the doorbell button and then the eye opens up and looks around  and you hear a voice talking. I got this for some friends that put out Halloween decorations every year and thought this would be a nice touch. I called it the "Mad Eye Moody" door bell.

Eyeball Doorbell

When this doorbell was purchased it was almost twice the cost of the one sold by WalMart; it's the exact item except for the color. It was ordered because the finials shown in the picture added to the decor of the doorbell. There were no finials like the picture showed.
After pressing the button which makes the ding-dong sound, it says the following:
"Good evening!" with a wicked laughter and creaking door sound
"You rang?" with a creaking door sound
"Enter, at your own risk!" with wicked laughter and creaking door sound
"Welcome." with wicked laughter and creaking door sound.
The eyelid shutter opens and the green glowing eyeball moves back and forth.
Made in China.

No finials like the picture shows

I was disappointed because I thought it was a real doorbell that could be installed outside. But neither is the case. Its cool as an indoor bedroom doorbell for kids on Halloween.

Disappointed but cool

The eyeball is scratched and the eyelids don't close completely. Also it sounds like it broke in shipping, pieces rattling around inside it and the batter cover is broken and will not stay on.

This is one of the coolest Halloween Decorations I have ever seen. The first time I pushed the button it worked great, the eyeball lid opened up and the the eye lit up and looked side to side while the animated sound worked loud and clear.
The second time I pushed the button.....The eyeball lid opened up with a "clank clank" the eyeball looked around with a "clank" and then when it closed it made all sorts of clanking crunching plastic noises. I was so disappointed. Still am. Hopefully I just got the one that didn't work and everyone else will not have this happen. I am on the fence with returning it only because it looks so cool, and am wondering if I can somehow open it up and fix it. Such a bummer.
