Since installing this unit a month ago weve experienced 3 power outages and couldnt be more pleased with how quickly the unit kicks on and keeps our home functional and comfortable.

Peace of mind!

I would it give 5 stsr if it wasn't for the detachable handle. Is wery easy to remove and attached and i think that the probllem there is not a thight fit and when the engine is running the handle start to shake making an undesirable noise. I opted to remove the handle when the machine is on. That is why i only give 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐.

This machine is a friendly user but,,

Generac 3600 psi. I've had mine for several years now and the only thing to complain about is where the the wand screws into the gun. It's very weak connection and I have broken it three or four times. For those of you having difficulties starting your unit…place the gun on the rack with the trigger activated, choke it, start it and unchoke it. It will start right up. Let it idle for a sec, deactivate gun, throttle it up and your good to go.

I bought my 2900 PSI power washer in 2020.  I got 4-years of operating from the unit.  I went to start it up this spring and couldn't get the unit to turn over.  I took the unit to an authorized Generac repair shop near me, and I was told the carburetor was damaged beyond repair and a new carburetor was needed.  The repair cost was half the original price of a new unit.   I elected not to invest in the repair and bought another brand.

I expected this Generac powered washer to last longer than this.  I did get 4-years of operation from the unit which is a cost of $75/year if I amortize the purchase price over the 4-years.  I assume that's what I would have spent if I rented a power washer from a local equipment rental vendor.  That's the reason I don't give it a lower rating.  Nevertheless, I was disappointed and don't recommend buying this unit.

Expensive Repair Costs

I do all the things you advise.....still not good for Canadian weather...And parts break on it ....But thank you for trying to help...I just want other Canadians to beware before buying.

Not good for Canadian weather...

Nothing but problems with our Generac less than 4 years old. Failed every time there was a power outage. Would  not recommend to anyone !!!

Totally a waste of our very hard earned money!!!

Would give a 0 star but can't … not good for Canadian weather and “special” snow … biggest waste of money I've ever spent .. plus starter broke . Now I have P..T.S.D generator disorder..when a storm starts a brewing it's a 80/20 chance it will start !!!

Not good for Canadian weather

It NEVER starts easily- quite possibly the worst thing I have ever spent money on. I have an irrational hate for this machine that worries me a little about my mental well being.  Unless you love pulling a crank start motor 1.3 million times and nursing blisters for 3 days afterwards I'd rethink purchasing this power washer.

Somewhat hard to start

Bought the 3200 psi. Used twice and always hard to start. It's a pull start. Always made sure gas w a spark Used up before storing thru winter. Air filter clean, controlled choke, spark plug replaced under generac specs, release pressure after attempting to pull start, carburetor was clean. It's just hard to start. Would not recommend.
