[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 5th set of General Tires.  They ride well in all seasons, and they are long lasting.  I have had other brands of replacement tires but General is the best whether the Grabbers for SUVs or the Altimax for cars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these tires for the last 7 years, they handle the Snow,  Rain, sharp curves,  5 Stars isn't enough rating, and I get my full 60,**** miles  out of them too! The Genral Altamax All Season is money well spent

RT43's are quiet, give a soft ride, and last a good amount of time, but I don't think they lasted as long as claimed. Have not had belt separation issues like the Walmart Goodyear tires for a Prius. I recommend General Altimax RT43 or RT45.

Bang for buck

Not sure why there is lot of good reviews, in my experience this is not a good tire. First of all they are more than year old at the time of install (14 months). 
They do not balance well. I had Wallmart re-balance them the next day but that did not help. I paid extra to get it re-balanced by a local mechanic I trust and still getting vibrations at 60  MPH I did not have just few days before with the old worn OEM tires. Number of weights needed to balance was significant.
The tire is loud to the point I sometimes suspect hub bearings are on way out while driving the highway. There was no noise up to the moment of installation so likely this is a tire problem. 
Kinda sad I am now stuck with these tires for 5  years. Maybe I will just buy a bullet and swap them for something sooner. Certainly don't recommend it unless you driving a truck or farm equipment.
