[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit that I use these pencils for one purpose only. Crossword puzzles. I tried a variety of different pencils over a couple of years. None worked to my satisfaction until I stumbled across these a few years ago. They need a quick sharpening job every night and an eraser on the end but then I'm ready to go! They are comfortable to use and the dark lead makes the puzzle easier to read for my visually challenged eyes!
