This AX4R bolt-on steel post bracket adaps the standard rear post brackets that are included in a Ghost Controls gate opener kit to allow installation on 4" diameter round steel posts. These AX4R brackets bolt onto the steel post and then the Ghost Controls rear post bracket (included in automatic gate opener kits) bolt onto these AX4R brackets. No welding is required. Includes all required mounting hardware to bolt these AX4R brackets to the rear post mounting brackets. Single gate opener kits require one AX4R for use on 4 inch round steel posts. Dual gate opener kits require two AX4R for use on 4 inch round steel posts.

Our steel posts were a little over 3" in diameter. The 4" worked, though not a perfect fit - the ends are not attached to anything, but the weld will hold.

Works with posts less than or equal to 4"

Ghost Controls

Used to firmly mount motor arm to a 4 1\4 inch steel post. I did have ground it a bit to fit the slightly larger post. Previous bracket that was welded to the post tore off the post. Did not want to weld the replacement bracket.

Received the part but surprised on the cost. Went I order it was not really expecting to pay that much but had to have the part for this job. 
There were no other options on the description such as maybe a little overpriced?

Great product. Wish yall made a 4 1/2 inch pipe fitting. I modifed the 4 inch to fit.

I used 4" well casing so i had to modify it a bit but worked great

It works for gate set up on round posts however, we can't get remote to sync with gate controls.

unfortunately, this bracket was not the right size I needed but the right one was not available for sale in this store; so, I had to cut it and adjust it to the size I needed.

works on round 4" post so don't have to weld arm bracket this way can adjust or remove for repairs
