Ease Of Installation

Sturdiness

Not the best looking item but it is sturdy and did the job. The mailbox I got covers it anyways. Easier than digging a hole and using concrete.

walmart.com

Easy to assemble and install, no digging, and very sturdy.

Great product, great price!!

Great

This is not a stand alone post that you can mount a mailbox on, it goes inside another actual post.

Did not realize you need a separate post.

The 4x4 was to big for the post it is designed for to slide over. I had to cut it down with a table saw. Also, I don't think the post is treated so I waterproofed it so as not to rot. The old system for this setup was much better. Would still be there if a Semi hadn't mowed it down. Cheap

This is just a 4x4 and a piece of cut angle iron.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The post was to mount a mail box but is much to short to use as is so low to the ground the mail person would have to hang out of window to open box therefore use less.

gibraltar mailboxes 4x4 anchor post kit , apk00000 wooden 4x4 post (23.5" after ground placement) paired with a black steel drive-in anchor and installation hardware in a centered front-facing shot; wooden post is rectangular, anchor is tubular with a pointed driving end and slots for fastening, suitable for slip-over mailbox posts or all-in-one mailbox/post combos.
