Package Capacity

The prior mailbox, that looked identical, and was a Rubbermaid brand, got pelted with slush and broke during a blizzard. It was 22 years old and had suffered a few issues. I ordered this and three days later it was at my door. It is marginally smaller than the prior one, otherwise identical. Mounted easily to the pole, although I did have to widen the outside hole so my drill and it's extension could fit in and reach the mounting bracket. Once that was done, the installation took a couple of minutes. I did use a washer around each mounting screw.

Great Box, looks good, easy to install.

Our old mailbox got smashed, so after comparing lots of mailboxes and reading reviews, this was the one we decided to purchase. I love it! Was super easy to install, its very roomy and we love the yellow indicator that tells you when you have mail. We live in a rural area and the mailbox is a little trek, so rather than go to the mailbox needlessly, we only go down to it when the indicator is up. I recommend it.

Love everything about it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The snow plows had knocked over our mailbox and I needed a way to install a new mailbox with 6 inches of snow on the ground. This post was easy to install and feels pretty sturdy. There were enough holes that I was able to reuse my existing mailbox with this post.

Easy to install mailbox post

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] very easy to put up. its nice and lightweight.

Snowplow took out my 4”x4” mounted metal box this winter. Decided to go with a plastic box/freestanding post as replacement. This box is a great size, as I do a lot of online purchases and small packages fit without issue. I love the little pop up indicator which allows me to see from my house when mail has arrived. NOTE: no instructions were provided on attaching the indicator and it took a little while to figure it out. Overall I'm pleased with it.

Nice size box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it is just a mailbox post, should be packaged and sold with the actual mailbox.

I find myself using a mail box more than ever these days, so a larger one is just the ticket to save steps to the door with small packages. The other half loves the yellow flag telling him there is mail inside.

It 's just right!

Not as thick as the older version. Door is a bit loose had to add a magnetic catch. We are on a highway and the wind can pull the door open. Last one lasted 25 years until a Semi mowed it down. We'll see how this does.

Thinner than original version.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it's only a plastic sleeve type thing to go for a post in the plastic piece for the mailbox to sit on top of. Wasn't what I was expecting at all. I still haven't used it I'll probably go with something else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sent this product back weeks ago still haven't received my refund I'm calling Walmart today for sure
