[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Postal Box Post is made of very strong steel and can be used for many different types of mailboxes. It will hold the weight if secured by the owner to the post with mounting holes pre-drilled.  Best if installed with a level and concrete mix to firmly secure it in place.   AAAAA      Seller.

Great mailbox mount. It is very strong. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was difficult to get into the ground because there was no place to hammer it down. We finally used a section of 2 by 4 to pound it down. Worked very well.

Rugged build

I'm giving this product 4 stars because of the time that was invested getting it to a point that it would function for our current mailbox. Unfortunately, our mailbox did not have holes drilled at the same locations as the new post so we had to "jury rig" the box to the post. But it is functional and the post itself is very sturdy! If you are looking for a post, it would be best to ensure that it will meet the specifics for your mailbox first.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too small for the size of the mailbox and didn't come with all the things needed to connect the mailbox. Was stuck with it as we needed to have our mailbox up but it will need to be replaced. Not sure why it was recommended for the mailbox.

Not the best fit

Terrible product.  I'm sure it's easy to get it in the ground if you have a post driver.  We don't, and had to use a sledgehammer to try to drive it in the ground.  Their cap to hammer on, to drive it into the ground, shattered after about the fifth hit.  Ended up having to get shovels and cement to try to get it into the ground and hold it into place.  Terrible overall design.
