There are definite imperfections in these dishes. The glaze in the centre of the plates and bowls looks stained, as if they've been used for quite a while There are occasional black marks in the finish that make it seem like they were rushed. However, they are attractive and were very reasonably priced, so I'm satisfied with my purchase.
