Read a lot of reviews on lots of dinnerware on several different sites. Lots of reviews for stoneware said they were beautiful but lots of complaints of chipped and broken dinnerware when arrived. Well not the case with this dinnerware. Arrived in perfect condition. They seem to be really sturdy. And what a great deal! All the other sets I looked at were more than twice as much for set of eight. So happy with this purchase!

I've been wanting to get dishes that are pretty and fairly priced and this suits my needs. I ordered 3 sets so that if we have a party for few people we have nice dishes to use. The dishes are big and heavy something I expect from stoneware. Like any breakable stuff, we should handle them with care, so I reading from other viewers that they get chipped is no news to me, if they break, they break, enjoy your dishes, handle them well and they will last. Walmart is prompt with their delivery, never had any problem with them. The package came well packed, no broken item. Very satisfied!!!

I had been looking for a square set of dishes for along time, when I saw these I fell in love with this set so I ordered them. When I received them and looked them over one of the bowls was broke. I contacted customer service and them were very helpful in replacing it. Thanks customer service.

I bought these to furnish a new house we just bought. The plates are glazed like fine tiles and are truly a piece of art. The colors are bright and go great with our dark mahogany dining room set. They are much heavier than the corelle we use for breakfast, but come out of the dishwasher looking great. These are our Good Dishes that we use for dinner and company. Love them.

I read a lot of reviews before selecting these dishes, and I am very happy with the purchase. They are very heavy and sturdy dishes. One of our main concerns, being able to microwave, is not a problem at all. Some dishes get exceedingly hot in the microwave, but these are reasonable. Reheating a serving of something is not a problem at all. And interesting to note, something that I did not see in the description, is that these dishes say underneath that they are actually OVEN safe. That gives you an idea of the heavy-duty quality. I have not tried the oven, but it does say you can do it. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others.

I ordered this product just in time to use it for thanksgiving.
-The dinner plates are a very good size.
-The smaller plates are a suitable size for a small salad or a small variety of deserts.
-The bowls are not completely round, but it is something a little different from just the normal round plates most people have. They also stack lopsided when they are incorrectly stacked(so stack them the same way).
-The cups are a regular 1 serving cup and are not as heavy as a regular mug.
-The color is spot on and is as beautiful as the colors in the pictures.
