This product works as advertised.  I use ONLY the Gillette Mach3 Razor Blade to shave because it does not give me razor bumps.  I also use the Gillette shaving cream. This combination is a win-win for my shaving regimen.

Very good deal and lowest price anywhere around!  Lives up to the name and I stand by it. Nice and sharp without leaving stubble or ingrown hairs, and very smooth shave.

Best Value...for miles!

My husband likes these razor blades.  Said the blades give a good close shave without using a lot of pressure on the face.  As a result - he doesn't get razor burn.  Also gets a lot of shaves out of one blade (blades last him a long time).  Gillette Mach 3 razors are worth the price.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the quality and durability of your products. For more than 40 years, my family and I have been loyal Gillette customers.
There is one story in particular that illustrates what the brand means to us. My late father used the same Gillette razor handle for many years before giving it to me as a gift. I then used and carefully preserved it for more than 20 years.
Recently, my eldest son turned 15, and I passed that same razor on to him. I told him its story and asked him to take good care of it—not merely as an everyday object, but as a family keepsake with great sentimental value.

A Gillette Razor Across Three Generations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor was great! I used it for the first time the other day and it gave a quality close shave. The fact that there was no after burn or any razor burn made this a quality razor for its triple blade system.

Closest and comfortable shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received notification I could participate in a Gillette Mach3 Razor review I thought, "what is this, 2002?".  In fact, it wasn't.

First introduced in 1998, the Mach3 is approaching 20 years keeping folks clean shaven.  Up front, I want to admit I use a Gillette Fusion for my daily shaves, but I did use a Mach3 in the past.  I was expecting a slight degradation from the Fusion's performance, and I didn't really get one over this short review period.

I used the Mach3 a total of  7 times. While I use a non-Gillette brand shaving cream/lotion, I was impressed with the Mach3's ability to smoothly take my moderate daily scruff straight down to the skin.  I shaved 5 times on 24 hour scruff and twice on 48 hour scruff, and it was able to provide a smooth, tight shave with no irritation.  

Another thing I appreciated was how simple and light the razor is (see picture compared to my Fusion).  Something basic and clean was appreciated.  The other demographic I believe could benefit from a Mach3 are those that are just learning to shave.  Save some money, and buy this for your teenagers instead of higher priced options.  It will easily handle their fuzz.

That said, I haven't been able to test the limits of the cartridge's performance.  I plan to use it until the cartridge needs replacing, and I depending on the results I may actually permanently switch BACK to the Mach3!  The cartridges are about 30% cheaper than fusion refills, and considering I shave every day for work, that cost can add up!  

Even after 20 years and apparent "advancements in shaving technology" from other razors, the Mach3 still gives a terrific shave and compares well against higher priced razors.  Give it a shot if you're up in the air on your razor decision.

Still A Great Razor

The work well but they are just very expensive.

I just got a refill with the “new” lubricating strip. Wow. To say it's a downgrade is not enough words. I have tried three different shaving gels and the lubricating strip just turns into this goo that completely clogs the blades. I have been unable to get a normal shave because as the blades clog they don't cut anymore. So unless you want to rinse the blade after less than 1.5” of travel on your face, then avoid. I don't know what I'm going to do. I've been using these for more than 20 years and I've never come across such a downgrade before.
