I tried it and I really love it. Overall probably the best razor and blades, but for a head shave I still prefer a fix headed one (fusion 5 with no flexball). If you would make this razor with no flexdisc I would love it. Also the shave gel for it is most likely the best one I ever tried. 😉

I have found it extremely difficult to find the right razor. As someone who not only shaves their face but their head also, most of the razors I tried were good for one or the other but not for both. The Gillette Labs is the perfect razor in my opinion. It does the job that no other razor has been able to do and I get the smoothest shave without having to use multiple razors.

Smooth Shave everytime

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Labs exfoliating razor is a quick and smooth shaving machine. The razor is made of quality and extra durable materials. The weight of the razor alone shows what type of shave you are about to experience. One of my favorite features is the trim line detailer. It gets down and trims out the areas where the lowest setting beard trimmer does not reach. The travel case and countertop stand that comes with it are very convenient and sleek looking. I would highly recommend this razor for your every day shaving needs!

Solid Razor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is another great product from Gillette.  I have been using their Fusion ProGlide razors for many years.  This new razor with exfoliating bar is up to their standards of high quality.  It feels very solid in your hand, and the 5 blades leave a nice, clean shave.  While the travel case makes for a nice unboxing experience, I can't imagine actually using it as a "travel case", since it is unnecessarily large and bulky.  It does come with a nice magnetic stand, so if you keep the razor on your counter, this serves as a nice holder.  I actually like the hole in the handle, as I can hang it on a hook in my shower.  The "exfoliating bar" seems like a total gimmick to me, but who knows, maybe it's actually doing something.  It is important to note, that the heads for this model are NOT interchangeable with their older Fusion razors.  Overall, it's a nice quality razor that looks very sleek.

Excellent overall razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a Gillette fan.  I have used their razor products since puberty.  Overall this is a good razor and I'm a fan.  It gives a good shave and it's a quality Gillette product.  The razor handle is well balanced and feels weighted enough to be substantial.  It's attractive and minimal.  The product stands well in the base and looks decent on my medicine cabinet shelf.  I don't really have a need for the travel case, but it's a nice perk.  I think I prefer my previous Gillette razor blades a little more than this bad with the exfoliating edge, but I really like the look and durability of this product.  I'd give this 5 stars for look and 4 stars for the shave, 4.5 stars overall.

Good shave and nice balance on razor handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this razor. Same number of blades as my other razor and a decidedly upmarket heft / solidness. The concept of the exfoliation bar was appealing as well, as I find the typical lubricant strips wear out fast and the exfoliation bar is designed to be durable. I've done 5-6 shaves with this and I just cannot get a satisfactorily close shave with it. I go over the same areas over and over and can't get the same closeness and quality of a shave I get normally, so I will be switching back to my old razor. A bummer because I really like the form / quality of it; it just doesn't work for my face.

Can't get a close shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GilletteLabs razor is a phenomenally engineered piece of work.  The articulating hinge that holds the blades is spring assisted so it rides along the contour of your face regardless of your hand or wrist position. The stand that comes with this model is a nice heavy disc and looks classy on the sink counter. Overall Its a fantastic design and would have been a perfect score if not for one fairly significant slip up on execution. The blades themselves, (at least on the one I have) simply arent sharp enough for my taste. Im not certain where theses blades are sourced; but I experienced a fair bit of follicle pulling and some rough gliding that I dont normally notice on other blades made in germany. I really wanted to love this razor and I certainly would revisit the design if the blade issue is improved.

Genius Design. Almost Perfect

This is an incredibly flimsy case.  I will be surprised if it isn't destroyed on my first trip.

Flimsy case

The product only has two instead of three cartridges. Highly disappointed. Also, the "everglide" coating on the top blade was half melted, the first time I purchased this item.

Misleading - product not as advertised

Being a Gillette customer since I've been shaving, I was thoroughly disappointed in this product. I upgraded the white was labeled the “The Best from  Gillette.”  However, the blades do not stay sharp long enough for more than 2 to 3 shades plus the most important part is the white strip keeps falling out. Definitely not the best Gillette experience
