Girl, Wash Your Face, Rachel Hollis Hardcover. With wry wit and hard-earned wisdom, popular online personality and founder of TheChicSite.com founder Rachel Hollis helps readers break free from the lies keeping them from the joy-filled and exuberant life they are meant to have.Founder of the lifestyle website TheChicSite.com and CEO of her own media company, Chic Media, Rachel Hollis has created an online fan base of hundreds of thousands of fans by sharing tips for living a better life while fearlessly revealing the messiness of her own. Now comes her highly anticipated first book featuring her signature combination of honesty, humor, and direct, no-nonsense advice. Each chapter of Girl, Wash Your Face begins with a specific lie Hollis once believed that left her feeling overwhelmed, unworthy, or ready to give up. As a working mother, a former foster parent, and a woman who has dealt with insecurities about her body and relationships, she speaks with the insight and kindness of a BFF, helping women unpack the limiting mind-sets that destroy their self-confidence and keep them from moving forward. From her temporary obsession with marrying Matt Damon to a daydream involving hypnotic iguanas to her son?s request that she buy a necklace to ?be like the other moms,? Hollis holds nothing back. With unflinching faith and tenacity, Hollis spurs other women to live with passion and hustle and to awaken their slumbering goals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recommend this good book.

Great book

This book is slowly becoming a favorite. I?m still reading it, but I enjoy how down to earth the author is. I was convinced I wanted to read this book by such great reviews that were given. Definitely an easy ready!!!

Love, love, love

I haven't yet finished reading it but am enjoying it tremendously! I actually bought it to give as a gift to someone else but since I wanted to read it too, I'm trying to read it quickly before I have to pass it on.

Girl Wash Your Face!

I Absolutely LOVE this book! If you're in your teens it will help you alot. I wish I read this when I was seventeen. It would have helped me go through so hard times. And help me see stuff that I should have seen right in front of my eyes.

If you're feeling a little lost or unmotivated you definitely need to read or listen to this book! Rachel Hollis nailed it!

Motivational!

Rachel writes from a place of transparency and honesty. It's a refreshing take on self help which I normally steer away from.

I listened to chapter 1 and 2 of the audio track. I felt like there was a lot I could relate too. Then I got to chapter 3 about minute 37 and I noticed the author began to talk about her accomplishments. I had to stop listening at about minute 55. I not once heard her say it was God who did those things through her. She took all the credit for these accomplishments that she couldn't have done without God. I heard a lot of "I did" statements instead of look what "God has done." Maybe in later in the book she gives credit to God. I couldn't keep listening after that. It was like nails on a chalk board with every "I" statement that was made.
Maybe a good book futher but I couldn't keep listening to something that didn't glorify God.
