Well made brand. Holds up well for my active child. Good thick quality material. Really wish they would make girl's Capri uniform pants. Living in a tropical climate, we have only a few weeks of cool weather. Capri pants would suffice and still be wearable in the summer like heat, which is our norm. Full on long uniform pants seem like such a waste for us since she grows so quickly and the winter season is so short.

There is a requirement at our school that shorts should not be more than 2" above the knee. These are a teeny bit above that marker; however, my daughter is quite tall and slender. Since it is difficult to find any shorts in an appropriate length, I still consider these a win! I knew by following the size chart that they would be a bit shorter, but they fit well and look modest.

Good shorts

I used as part of child's uniform. Fit and length are perfect. Holds up great when washed and durable. The cost was fair. Nothing negative to write about

I would buy  this  product  again

The shorts run one size smaller than what I purchased.  The size chart for women's pants and shorts are identical, but the shorts were skin tight and the pants of the same size were perfect.  The shorts also pill and shrink.  The process of exchanging the shorts for a different size is not an easy job.

I would rather not buy this product again

I find the sizing unnerving.  It's so inaccurate.  Even many years ago it was. However this brand is associated with my granddaughters school so I gave it another go..literally 30 years after the last time.  I'm sorry I was disappointed to see nothing has changed.

French Toast

There is a huge size difference between 16w and 18w.  18w falls off my daughter and 16 she cannot button.  I love the quality of the shorts but the sizing is awful.

Sizing is not accurate

The the left opening is very small. These fit awkward and look awkward. Only the skinniest of the skinny could possibly make these work. My daughter is slim but these fit just as tight on her thighs as the smaller shorts I was trying to replace with this purchase. The waist is the correct fit so a bigger size will not work. Now I am stuck with 3 pair I don't want and nothing online I can replace them with.  Very disappointed.

Would not recommend

My daughter is 7 years old.  She is currently between a size 10 and 12, depending on the brand.  Thought I'd give French Toast a try since so many uniform places are out of stock.  Ordered size 12 and she can't even fasten them.  They are way too small.  Called customer service and they researched the dimensions of the 14 and there was very little difference in the waist.  Return and refund.  French Toast is not the store for us.
