I don't need to change the bag for 3-4 days before I notice an odour. I also like how sturdy the bag is; it doesn't fall apart when I change the bag and dispose of it in my green cart.

Composting made easy!

Works as promised. Bag doesn't break easily

I've tried several brands of compost bags, and I can confidently say these are the best I've encountered. Unlike other brands that break apart easily, these bags are durable, holding up well even when fully loaded with kitchen scraps. Another great feature is their pleasant scent, which significantly reduces any unpleasant odors in my kitchen. Love this product!

Durable and Pleasantly Scented!

I picked these up as part of an online shopping trip.  I wasn't able to get out to the store where I normally purchase my compost bags.  These ones are user friendly (open easy), have the scent of lemon and are a little more sturdy that the ones I normally purchase.  I just wish they came in larger quantities.

This is perfect for my compost bin, which is a 13 gallon bin. Glad has made a durable bag that is still compostable. I've tried other bags, which rip very easily, especially after being exposed to moisture. Two weeks in, and I am a fan of these.

Finally! A great compostable trash bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I'm kinda in love with these Glad Compostable Lemon Scent bags. I love to compost, but hate the smell. I'm one of those people that smell everything. Well let me tell you these compostable bags did the trick I just pop one in my compost container and bam no more stink. These bags held all my straps with out ripping or tearing at all. When I'm cooking with lots of fresh vegetables or fruit I just put one of these bags on my counter all fill it up. No smelly mess left behind in my kitchen. Love these handy bags.

Great fresh scent

[Employee of walmartcanada] This product is great for any home that uses a green bin, we found that it was strong and able to hold a large amount of kitchen compost. We were able to fill it fuller then any other bag we have tried. We were able to tie the bag with no issues. The kids were able to help tie it as well. I accidentally dropped the bag , to my surprise it didn't burst open all over our floor. We also found these were also easy to open compared to the current brand we are using. The only down side that i was not a fan of was the smell. It was too strong of a chemical smell instead of a real lemon smell to me. The kids and spouse liked the smell. I did find while using the bags that we didn't have any fruit flies over the compost bin on my counter, so i guess the smell of the over all worked. 
The last week we also noticed the animals didn't try to get into the outside green bin.

very strong

These bags are great. They fit perfectly in a 3 gallon trash can.
They do not come with twist ties like some do but you can use a rubber bands
or old ties from bread loaves. They are treated with odor control and are sturdy.
Will definitely buy again.

Great Way To Help The Environment

I recently bought a compost bin and wanted to use the compostable bags for collecting my kitchen scraps before putting them into the bin. I didn't learn that they weren't suitable for backyard composting until I read the fine print on the box. I didn't see any mention of that when reading the product information on the website. I can't evaluate how it works for municipal composting.

I will say that the delivery came when expected and the return was easily made.
