Last week I had surgery on my dominant hand and to say this is a major inconvenience would be an understatement. Daily tasks are so difficult and showering is next to impossible. LIGHTBULB moment, plastic gloves and Glad Cling wrap, hand to elbow ! Totally sealed my hand, totally waterproof and held up until I took it off. It's amazing how something so simple made my daily life so much easier. I am promoting this to my surgeon at my follow up appointment so that his practice can recommend to others. THANK YOU !!!

It's for more than wrapping food !!

Glad.com

Me and other family members (not at my residence) have been using Glad's Cling Wrap our whole lives. I love it. It is easy to get to cling to bowls and other containers that don't even lend themselves to being covered (e.g., plates). Part of the reason it is good is because it clings to itself so well (but also requires you be careful not to let it cling prematurely). This lets me cover a container, and then the wrap stays on, because it clings to itself around the outside. Because it stretches easily, it is not really possible to accidentally tear it.

My favorite plastic wrap

I ONLY purchase Glad cling wrap. I have on a few ocassions purchased other brands, but there is no comparison to Glad's cling wrap. I am not typically picky about products, but I will NOT purchase any other cling wrap but Glad!!

By far the best product out there in my opinion!!

Given the choice I always choose this one over a generic competitor. It's not 100% perfect, there are sometimes little cardboard fuzzies at the beginning of the roll, but aside from that the plastic is stronger and more durable.

My favorite Cling wrap

I spent a frustrating 10 minutes trying to find the start of a new roll of this product. Although I eventually did so, wasting 2 or 3 feet of the wrap in the process, I was sufficiently irritated to submit this comment. And what do you know? The reviews are filled with similar comments from others. I scribbled on the package "hard to start; try different brand". Congratulations to your design team: you have saved a fraction of a penny and lost a customer!

REALLY Hard to Find Start of the Roll

I have never had a problem with cling wrap until this one. The film is so thin that it doesn't cut well without losing the edge for the next piece. It tears on the edges and wraps around the end of roll causing you to lose product nearly each time you use it. I don't like feeling frustration every time I use the cling wrap.

Too Thin

As many others have stated, huge issue with starting. (Number on box 7325 351 00:11 02). Ultimately, ended up using a razor to start and lost 5 plus feet of useable wrap. I may need to stick with Saran brand. By the way Shannon, your statement is false if there are many people having the same issue, please tell Corporate to fix the issue. Here is Shannon's statement I have seen posted several times. "Shannon from The Glad Team
Thank you for trying our Cling'N Seal Wrap. We apologize for the inconvenience. The last few inches of the wrap are lightly embossed to reduce cling and make it easier to use. For further assistance, please call us at 800-835-4523 and reference ref# 260519-000195. We look forward to speaking with you soon."

Hey Shannon, the is the start of the roll NOT the last few inches at the end

I see a common trend

Quality of the product has really gone down. Clinging is more tacky than self-adhesive. Lack of an opening "tab/sticker" on the roll means you're doing the "hunt for the undesignated edge with your fingernail" dance. This just wastes time. Can't say I want to use this over the generic store brand cling film. And since your plant-based version is almost double the price, that price indicator alone makes me not want to use either. Please do better.

Disappointing drop in product quality.

Where is the cling part? Or the seal part for that matter. Doesn't cling to anything, just lays lifelessly on top of your item no matter how you try to rig it up so it will stick to itself, or the bowl you are covering or anything. It's basically an umbrella for the bowl now. Useless

Doesn't cling or seal

Glad Cling'N Seal is a waste of money. Does not cling to anything and the roll is difficult to start. Will never buy again. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Does not Cling

Glad Cling Wrap, Clear Food Wrap, 90 m centered Glad box with roll of clear plastic wrap and serrated dispenser visible; labeled 90 m, clear film for sealing bowls and plates, microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe per packaging, contains no plasticizers, often used to cover small baking pans for short-term protection.
