Me and other family members (not at my residence) have been using Glad's Cling Wrap our whole lives. I love it. It is easy to get to cling to bowls and other containers that don't even lend themselves to being covered (e.g., plates). Part of the reason it is good is because it clings to itself so well (but also requires you be careful not to let it cling prematurely). This lets me cover a container, and then the wrap stays on, because it clings to itself around the outside. Because it stretches easily, it is not really possible to accidentally tear it.

Last week I had surgery on my dominant hand and to say this is a major inconvenience would be an understatement. Daily tasks are so difficult and showering is next to impossible. LIGHTBULB moment, plastic gloves and Glad Cling wrap, hand to elbow ! Totally sealed my hand, totally waterproof and held up until I took it off. It's amazing how something so simple made my daily life so much easier.  I am promoting this to my surgeon at my follow up appointment so that his practice can recommend to others. THANK YOU !!!

It's for more than wrapping food !!

I ONLY purchase Glad cling wrap. I have on a few ocassions purchased other brands, but there is no comparison to Glad's cling wrap. I am not typically picky about products, but I will NOT purchase any other cling wrap but Glad!!

By far the best product out there in my opinion!!

Given the choice I always choose this one over a generic competitor. It's not 100% perfect, there are sometimes little cardboard fuzzies at the beginning of the roll, but aside from that the plastic is stronger and more durable.

My favorite Cling wrap

I do a lot of cooking and baking and have been looking for a reasonalby priced plastic wrap that actually works like the makers say. The "Cling Wrap" is the first plastic wrap I have ever used that does what they say it can. I use it for covering dishes while I bake or microwave them, wrap cooked items to prepare for freezing or to store in the refridgerator.
"Cling Wrap" helps prevent spills and splatters when cooking and actually makes the cooking process faster as it helps keep the heat and moisture in the food.
Absolutely "great" product, I can't believe I had never tried it before the other day. I highly recomment it to anyone who cooks and bakes. It will save you time and money.

This product is inexpensive and versitile.

Ever had a clear wrap that wraps around everything but what you want? I've tried other brands, but this brand is the only one I don't have to fight from the time I get it out of the box until wrapped around a container or dish. The "teeth" on the box are stiff and sharp so the wrap tears off nicely, too.

Clings where it is supposed to

I spent a frustrating 10 minutes trying to find the start of a new roll of this product.  Although I eventually did so, wasting 2 or 3 feet of the wrap in the process, I was sufficiently irritated to submit this comment.   And what do you know?  The reviews are filled with similar comments from others.  I scribbled on the package "hard to start; try different brand".  Congratulations to your design team: you have saved a fraction of a penny and lost a customer!

REALLY Hard to Find Start of the Roll

As many others have stated, huge issue with starting. (Number on box 7325 351 00:11 02). Ultimately, ended up using a razor to start and lost 5 plus feet of useable wrap. I may need to stick with Saran brand. By the way Shannon, your statement is false if there are many people having the same issue, please tell Corporate to fix the issue. I see a common trend

It took forever to find the start and just when I thought things were good, the roll is totally stuck together.  I found an edge and all I was able to unroll was a smidgen I CANNOT use this product.

Waste of money

Unusable. Almost impossible to get it to unroll without tearing, then it doesn't cut along the lid flap without stretching so that it comes off as a useless mess that has clung together. Very frustrating to try to get it to separate so it can be used to, oh, span a bowl. I have to tape it to the counter and cut it with a knife to get a piece that can be used. How this survives in the marketplace is a mystery.

Unusable.
