Very nice inexpensive desk that fit in nicely with my decor. My daughter who is very good at putting stuff together did have some difficulty with assembly. She said the directions were hard to follow. Still a very modern design that doesnt take up much space...

Nice looking inexpensive desk

i was a little hesitant about this product because the top was glass and I had an older model printer that I wanted to place on it. After it arrived and I put it together, I was remarkably surprised. The desk is, to include the glass top, made strong, easy to assemble and it appears durable. I would definitely recommend this item to a friend or family member.

Fit the space I needed to place it in perfectly

Very nice looking and extremely study desk when assembled. However, plan on taking your time assembling. The keyboard sub assembly instructions are only a small diagram and if your not careful and take plenty of time to think about how it should be assembled, you will put it together wrong.

Note that no tools are needed for assembly. All screws/bolts are hex head and a allen key is provided with the hardware.

Nice Product But Assembly Instructions Need Work

Great buy twenty dollars cheaper than Overstock. It was just what I  wanted. The only issue I had was the instructions were not very good. Overall I'm very satisfied.

Great desk

Very sturdy desk after assembled. Big enough, and good-looking. Took me an hour to assemble it.

The desk is a great computer desk; it looks wonderful and is sturdy.  Take your time with the assembly, especially when choosing which holes to use on the keyboard rails, because you're guided only with a one-page pictures-only assembly instructions.

Excellent desk, take your time with assembly

It's the right size and a stylish piece of furniture. I can't say how easy or difficult it was to assemble because someone else put it together for me.

Love my desk

It's a bit fiddly to assemble and the directions leave something to be desired but this is a nice little desk.  Looks and feels more expensive than it is. It fooled my wife. She thought I had spent a few hundred dollars until I told her the actual price.

Nice Desk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] solid build fairly easy to assemble ...but the instructions to build the pull out keyboard shelf were non existent... the diagram was NOT easy to figure out

This computer desk is awesome. It looks better than the picture once built. The glass is thick and crystal clear. The wood is compressed wood with a beautiful walnut finish. The metal frames seem to be are strong an sturdy. The key board pull out is as wide as the desk, so it has plenty of room. I mount my iMac and it looks clean and stunning. The reason I do not give this a 5 out of 5 stars is because the instructions are lousy. Its just a cheap illustration. Other than that I highly recommend this desk and you can't beat the price.

Excellent Computer Desk!!

After reading the reviews it looks like I am not the first to have this problem with the desk. The wooden panels are too long for the metal bars attaching to the side frames and will not fit.

After contacting Flash furniture I was told I would receive replacement parts.  I was then emailed a week later to say there was nothing wrong with the desk and I had to loosen the bolts on the metal bars to get the wooden panel on.  After numerous attempts  to reassemble the desk it is clearly a  problem  with the length of metal bars or wooden panels. After sending multiple photos of the issue on multiple times I am still being told by their defects dept that its an assembly issue.  They wouldn't even send me the dimensions of the parts for an assembled desk so I could check against my parts.  Customer service is non existent.

Will now return the desk and will never deal Flash Furniture again.
