I have seen so many negative reviews about this product and was hesitating to buy it, but It was the cheapest option I could find for a stainless steel kitchen knife and omgggggg I love this productt !! The quality is way better than I expected and it looks exactly like the pictures. I've already gotten so many compliments on its sharpness and durability! Definitely worth the money!

This is  a really nice size to add to your knife collection; more than a paring knife, yet not so large that it's overkill for most projects.  The blade is thin but not flexible.  Because it's Global, you know the quality's great.  And the price, when I bought it on sale, was terrific!

Great addition to your knife collection

Global knives are my favorites. I have one of their 5" Chef's knives, but it seems diminutive next to this one. Of course they're very sharp. I love the one piece construction. Hope I don't lose any digits wielding this sword.

Global Review

There are a lot of counterfeit Global knives on the internet.  I was sent two G-2's.   I ordered 1 
G-2 and one GF-98. I got two G-2's.  Both were  counterfeit.  One quick way to check  is put a magnet on handle: if it sticks it is counterfeit.  Global knife handles are not magnet, but the blades are.

Check your knife

This is a fake Global. I have the original Global knife and ordered this one because I'm a Global fan. See the pictures, they have different edge (the original has like a double edge), different color of metal, the print is smaller than the original one.
The upper knife is original, below is a fake. Don't buy it.
I don't get how Walmart allows it. Can I sue this?

This is not an original Global knife. I own a whole block of Global knives. This is a cheap copy. You can see it in the box right away. The laser inscription on the knife is also not done right. Is very light in weight. The handle is made of thin metal and hollow. DO NOT BUY THIS COPY.

Sadly, this review is more for the experience in that it's a FAKE and COUNTERFEIT product. Real Global knives are good... this is junk.

FAKE, FAKE, FAKE... Counterfeit marketplace items!

COUNTERFEIT, as verified by the manufacturer. How can you tell? Per the Global customer service rep, the 2 big tells are: (1) global logo/model number/etc. should be printed in BLACK on BOTH sides. This one is only ETCHED on ONE side. (2) Global knives have SAND in the handle for balance that you can hear when you shake it. No sand. Also, the seller is not an authorized dealer per the company, the price keeps getting lower (too good to be true…), and the seller's name keeps changing. Apparently there are lots of global counterfeits. I am returning this and now ordering from cutlery and more, which is a certified dealer and is having their Black Friday sale.
