This was the second time I have purchased this lamp so it was easier for me to put it together. 
Can not stress enough, read the directions BEFORE starting. 
It is crucial that you do not twist the wiring and it is easy to do if you don't follow the steps (like I did the first time). 
The lamp works wonderfully and, depending on the bulbs you use, gives off great light.

I like my floor light

You can't beat this for value.  You get a nice pole lamp that goes anywhere at the lowest price.  I actually have 3 of them, including one for my front porch.

Easy to assemble, good price and overall quick delivery.

Good product.

A great buy in a useful lamp.  It makes a room lamp that is nice and bright.  The reading light is wonderful and  easily moves to be  the directed reading lamp.

Good Lamp

It was easy to assemble and provides separate switches for the three level top light and the reading light. Very handy and attractive. 
My only issue is that the narrow stem on the upper switch is difficult to turn due to its small diameter. I added a larger diameter knob over the existing stem so I can change the upper light setting without a struggle. 
I recommend adding to the kit a knob that will slide over the existing stem to enable those with less hand strength to operate the upper switch.

Great two tiered light for the room and reading

I liked the appearance of the lamp, but it was difficult to screw the pieces together, using some oil on the part that you are screwing helps.  Other than that, it was easy to assemble.

Nice 2 look at, but a little hard 2 screw together

Thought it came with shades as shown on box.

came with out shades. there was a space for them in box but no shades. strangest thing. it'a $25. lamp and easy enough to put together if you do not strip the threads when putting it together.

We opened the box to put up the floor lamp.  Guess what is missing?   Both shades.  I wouldn't recommend this product
