I've been trying to find inexpensive titles for my 3 year old son and my 6 year old daughter. Go Diego Go has probably been one of the best. It is just a little too hard for my 3 year old and just a little too easy for my 6 year old. The integration of the Wii controls, and the addition of the adult helper feature is great. The 3 year old could sort of play, but got a bit frustrated. So, I just gave him a controller that wasn't being used, and did the running and jumps. I let him press the action buttons, and he pretend did the Wiimote actions with me. The game's helper graphics for the actions are wonderful and he played right along. My 6 year old played it to completion in her first sitting - and loved every second. Both kids like the animation and the story. And, the levels are a perfect balance of forgiving and exploratory. You can go any where and in any order, and still end up at the end. My only complaint on this game is that they could have done a bit more levels or difficulty adjustment or something for repeat play. But that's a minor complaint for a game that gets so many things right for its intended age group.

My son is four years old. He received this for his birthday and it's wonderful. It's fun, exciting, easy to play, and educational!

Wonderful game

This game is great! It's fairly easy to complete. My son loves it, that's all that matters. He may be getting bored with it though after 2 weekends. All he does now is go through levels he's already completed and goofs around, crashes purposely on the racing part, and even plays the credits. I just wish I had bought it when it was on sale a while back. $20 buck wasn't bad though for the happiness it brings us.

4yr old loved it!!

I have a 3 1/2 yr. old, and an 8 yr old. they both love it. A lot of games are just too complicated for them, and this is something that amuses them and is managable for them. I'm excited to see all the things that we can unlock. It looks like a lot of fun ahead for them.

I was very pleased with this game. My daughter was a little bummed that it was Diego when we bought it, they didn't release Dora on the Wii, but once we got it home and she played it, she absolutely loves it so does her 8 year old brother. They love learning about the different animals and I love that too. They get to learn while playing vidoe games. The only thing I wish was different was it's a one player game for the most part, so taking turns turns into bickering. Other that that it's one of the best games for the Wii.

A great game for kids

My 5-year-old son loves this game. We recently bought it for him for his birthday and he is hooked. He gets soooo excited that he can play the game & be successful "all by himself!" It has sections in the game where an adult can jump in to help out the little ones if needed, but he rarely needs it. I would recommend this game for younger kids. It is also entertaining for adults to watch them play and learn about the animals and foreign languages!

We bought this for our five year-old because he is such a Diego fanatic, and we wanted something for the Wii that he could play. He LOVES IT! He's already beat the game, and he will play it over and over again. He only got stuck once or twice when playing it, and the on-screen instructions make it great for him to learn on his own how to play the game. I would recommend for anyone in his age group (4-6).

5 Year Old Loves It!

My 4 yr old son LOVES this game....it is very easy for them to learn the control.....great "thinking" game and makes them move a bit too.....
BUT....he finished the entire game in less than 3 hours...he still plays it...but now the challenge is gone. It is his fav game still.....I just wish it had challenged him a tad longer....

Great game....but.....

I'm glad we selected this game in a bundle package. When going through the Safari course, our 7 year old was able to complete the entire game between dinner and bedtime, about 3 hours. And, by the way, she is not a gamer. In fact, very new to it. I was disappointed that it was able to be completed so quickly. However, you can still use the racing mode to challenge another player.
This was a short lived game in our house and definitely not worth the high cost to buy it. Rent it first!!

Very Short

I bought this game for my 4 year old and yes he loved it, but was very upset at the lack of rescues. He had the game done in a few short hours and doesn't have any interest in playing it again. This will be the last time I go out to buy a game the first day it comes out, I will wait for useful reviews.
