This did what it was suppose to. Took it to Turks and Caicos for some snorkeling and other adventures. Kept the water out of the Go Pro camera. I am very pleased with this product. The price was reasonable.

Large tube mount for GoPro

The factory handlebars on the 2018 and newer Fatbobs motorcycles are thick. If you want to mount a camera close to center on the bars, you'll need the large tube mount instead of the regular tube mount. Holds secure on with no movement, even at freeway speeds.

I bought the helm mount for the gopro so i could film while i am on the road, cutting corners and flying by traffic. It holds like no other. Doing 120+ on the highway and it holds. I have already created some nice memories with it and hope to keep filming my rides and much more. Soon to try the suction cap mount onthe oldtimer.

Ride like you stole it

To mount my Hero9 on the end of the lower spar/boom (2 1/4” OD) on my Sunfish sailboat, I need to use this large tube mount. I have the camera mounted inverted, so the lens faces forward, and is not encumbered by the sail. So far, so good, and I've created and published some videos I'm pretty pleased with. But here's the issue: on this diameter tube, the ends of the clamp get closer together (closer than in the picture above). What happens is that the cup where the thumb screw seats becomes angled with respect to the axis of the thumb screw. The result is a very shallow edge towards the opening of the clamp, such that it only takes a small force to knock the thumb screw free from the seat. In activities where a blow to the unit is unlikely, this presents little risk. But in some activities, like competitive Sunfish sailboat racing, where making contact with another boat occurs with some frequency, and more frequently involving the lower spar or boom, this insufficiency of holding power of the thumb screw/thumb screw seat becomes a liability. Additionally, the thumb screw protrudes from the spar at about the 2 o'clock position, which becomes a lever on which a competitor's spar can obtain purchase…think about how boats on the water are constantly moving up and down, and it's not hard to imagine that my spar is going to be going up while the one right next to me is moving down. I fear that even minimal contact with another boat's spar is going to result in my large tube clamp and my Hero9 ending up at the bottom of the bay. So far, I've been mitigating this risk by using duct tape to reinforce the positioning of the thumb screw, to bolster it against accidental dislodging from the seat. But this gets messy, and I would like a better solution. I would like to see the clamp re-designed with an extra-deep, and maybe thicker seat for the thumb screw, so that it can provide better resistance to accidental dislodging when the clamp is used on tubes in its smaller design range. Maybe also a shorter thumb screw design, so it presents less of a target for contact. I presume both of these issues diminish as the diameter of the tube on which the clamp is mounted is increased. But that's not an option on my Sunfish.

Works great, but minus one star due to a design flaw (?) that risks accidental product and camera loss

Utilizing the the new roll bar mount in motorsports is a step back from the previous 2 screw style. 
 
The ability to rotate the mount quickly and easily is really nice, but under g force load in high speed corners it cannot support the weight of the GoPro without movement...no shake but the mount moves. 
 
I can't tell if the rubber around the roll bar is moving as a result of not being tight enough (the old two screw mount you could get really tight around the roll bars) or the top of the mount is moving in between the gears/notches of the different positions. 
 
It works great on straightaways, but as soon as the race car comes into a corner with lateral g-force load the mount moves.

PROS:
Excellent build quality
Easy to use
360 feature is very useful and easy to use
Looks great 

CONS:
Extremely shaky when used with gooseneck due to the 360 pivot design. 
If not over-tighten the screw gets disengaged with the slightest lateral force.
IMO the rubber part should be fixed to the plastic to prevent it from falling each time you remove the mount.

So i bought this mount after buying the Handlebar, Seatpost, pole mount which sadly was too small for my road bike handlebars, (which are 31.5mm and should have fit). Mounted this to my road bike and tightened snugly. Sadly, the road vibrations caused it to work itself loose and i removed it mid ride and stuffed it behind me in my jersey pocket. When stopped for a mechanical, I attempted to secure the mount again, only to discover that the rubber grommet had fallen out and was lost (probably when i transferred it to my back pocket. Reading the questions and someone else had a similar incident and was told that there were no replacement parts. In the description its claimed that there are no loose parts to drop or lose. Clearly that is not the case. Very disappointed to find out that the only way to use this mount again is to buy a new one.

Worked great for an hour, then major problems.

I'm an avid rider and used this mount on my mountain bike handlebars.

Today was unfortunate as the top clip that serves as part of the swivel mechanism detached from the lower half that remained attached to my handlebars and I lost my brand new GoPro black Hero 8 on the mountain bike trails. 

I purchased this item because I thought the swivel mechanism would be cool to capture both trail and rider but the pieces are all plastic and broke easily without any direct contact to it. as I was riding today I was maneuvering the swivel back and forth to capture different angles and noticed that the “lock” was not sturdy. I trusted this product without second guessing that it would break and my GoPro would fall off during my ride. Since the battery was dead I was not able to locate it with the app. Multiple people looked but it was not found. Wish I went with the helmet or chest attachment instead.

Large tube mount

The large tube mount works great until you lose the rubber insert. I was working overwater and the rubber insert fell out. I have been unable to find replacement rubber inserts for the large mount. Be very careful with the rubber insert because it falls out very easy. Go pro needs to sell the inserts on their website rather than having to buy a whole new clamp.
