Dial Ease Of Use

Has a strong, unpleasant smell that lingers on hands.

Can be competitively low, but also steep for certain models.

Good quality adjustable dumbbells. I bought set of two and I love it so far. Takes less space and adjusting for right weight is super easy. 
Just one thing I want to mention that sometimes it's hard to turn the adjustment knobs...but I found that if the dumbells are not properly set it causes that. In that case just push down the dumbells and you'd be good to go.

Very good

This is the second purchase of this item. I bought one boxing day 2024 and I works well. I waited until it went on sale again boxing day 2025 to buy the second one. Now my set is complete! Great for a hime gym.

2nd time purchase

This is basically as inexpensive as it gets for this style of dumbbell. These have a sloppier build quality vs the more expensive Bowflex ones, but it’s not to the point where I find it unusable. One tip: press down on the dumbbell when turning the dial to switch weights. Makes it so much smoother to adjust this way. I’ve been using these for a few weeks and they work well. I wouldn’t expect them to survive being thrown around but I figure they’ll last as long as I’m fairly gentle when putting them down.

Lower Priced Alternative

So far so good. You have to be careful turning the dial. I push the weight down as a turn the dial to make sure it turns smoothly. Make sure you shake the wait firmly as you pull it out to make sure every plate is safely on and not loose. The one downfall is that it smells like gasoline or petroleum and it makes my head hurt every time I workout. I am hoping the smell wears off soon. I have tried cleaning it with alcohol and disinfectant but it still smells. Other than that it gets the job done.

Decent weights / strong petroleum smell

Picked up a pair of these a few months ago. Good price compared to other suppliers. They aren't perfect though. They can be fiddly to adjust and I found out the other day that the weights can come off while lifting if they aren't adjusted perfectly. But they do work, have a ton of adjustment and are a good price. These are the only adjustable weights I have ever used so keep that in mind.

Good for the price

Plastic pieces holding two of the plates in broke after only a couple of days. It wasnt treated roughly or dropped. Will be returning it. I liked it while it lasted but I'd recommend a different adjustable dumbbell. The metal ones would probably be more reliable and durable.

Dumbbell

They fall apart and the weights fall off mid set then wont go back in the holder then you spend 15 mins trying to change the weights because they jam. Not worth the money.

Cheaply made

I used it couple of times and it's already broken. The knob won't turn from 10lbs and I'm stuck with it. I have another set and that works well so I guess it's 50% chance...

The knob is stuck.

Bought it Dec 27th.  Used it twice a week and a plastic piece has broken off already. Unacceptable that it lasted only a  month before breaking. Will be contacting go zone to let them know.

Broke within a month.

I was hopeful but finally when I got one home and opened everything up I found the gears are hard to turn when they finally turned I would pick up the weight and give it a little safety shake before lifting over my head and sure enough some of the plate would fall out.  I have since returned this product.
