Spring Durability

I purchased this to use for strengthening my hand. Do to surgery I was unable to use my hand. I have to be in a sling for six weeks. At my 2 week check up I was finally able to do things with that hand. I had to start on the weakest tension but have been able to adjust it to a stronger tension now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Years ago I had a hand-grip, but this new one is a much improved upon version. It's a sturdy metal with a grip material where your hands touch. It is ergonomically shaped so it fits more comfortably in my hand. The best feature for me is the tension adjustment knob because my wife uses it on a lesser setting than I do, and my teenage son can turn it up as high as he likes. Another addition he likes is the pounds gauge on the side that lets you know how much weight equivalent you are doing.  I'm impressed with this device and glad I ordered it.

Seems sturdy, nice extra features.

The side has markings indicating the force that it's set at, from 20 to 90 lbs. The handles have comfortable rubber grips and overall seems like it would last long.

Simple yet sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about 2 weeks ago not really ever used one of these. I remember when I was a kid my grandfather had one of these, it was different looking. It was black with a spring at the top and he said he used it every day. I remember we he asked me if I wanted to shake his hand. And I should have said no but it took me a few times to learn I was just a little kid.  We call that old man strength now. So I seen this one a couple weeks ago and decided to get it. Works as described I like the fact you can adjust the strength on it, my grandfather would be jealous. lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this device daily. I like the fact I can't adjust the amount of tension which is why I rate it 4 stars. I don't give it 5 stars due to it being a little small for larger hands. Other than that it's a very good device.

Good but small for larger hands.

Bought one,two different times.
They both broke the same way after about two months of use,they have a weak point it seems at the top part of the spring where it connects to the body(Handle)
Both times they broke in this spot on me.I was squeezing them at maximum tension when I used them,90lbs.
The steel pin that holds the spring to the plastic body wears eventually breaks off of the plastic it can't withstand the max amount for long use
It's happened twice to me,over time it will snap in that spot.

I bought this item a few weeks ago and the spring has already snapped.  Only used it on the lowest setting.  Terrible quality and I won't be purchasing anything by GoZone again.

Poor Quality

Spring broke after a couple months use. Nothing lasts forever but certainly expected longer than this, would definitely recommend buying a different brand.
