I just bought this pedometer and ran into the same difficulty initiating set-up as other reviewers have encountered.  Fortunately, I contacted the company and was given updated instructions which I have included in the review as screen shot photos.

Updated operation manual

Once I got the right instructions on how to make this work and set it up, I like it.  I have never figured out how to set the clock but I don't need that feature anyway so no loss there. It counts my steps, lets me know how many calories I burned and how many miles I walked. Just what I wanted.

I am annoyed that the instructions that came with it were wrong. Luckily I found a screenshot from another reviewer that showed the right way to set it up. Now that I can finally use it, the only thing I don't like is the size. I would like it to be smaller.

Once it's set up, it works well.

I bought this a couple weeks ago. When it works, it works well. You have to have it in the exact right position though. I've tried it on my waistband of my pants, and it doesn't count anything. Clipped into a pocket, it works great. But seeing as when I do my walking, I wear yoga pants or similar, not the most reliable.

Intructions are not accurate, there is no time format. Need to find aditional instructions to set up. Otherwise works okay. Thanks to walmart reviews i found some information.

Frustrated set up

Bought one … lost it 2 hours later.  Bought another one, and it's not working.  Wore it all day today, including for a 12-minute Tai Chi Walking workout that was for ~1100 steps … the pedometer shows 587 steps for today.  I'll be returning it 🤬. It clips to your clothing, but easily works its way off, as you move throughout the day - very easy to lose.

I bought this today 3/10/2020
It's going back to the store. Can't set the time the instructions are not correct or not for this specific pedometer. Also can't set the metric or imperial system. It's already selected to imperial... not happy!

A cheap toy that sometimes counts some steps. No value whatsoever.

If I could give a zero, I would. You can't set it up, and doesn't work. waste of time and money - don't bother, you'll just be returning it.
