DESCRIPTION: There are 2 different size repair plugs. The HC-138G Gold plugs are
for the Newer panels that have Ribs on the large Header tube where the small
riser tubes join. To help identify the panel you have please look at our second

TO USE PLUGS: Cut off the damaged tube flush against the header, insert the
rubber sleeve and push the plug into the sleeve. Repeat the process for the
same damaged tube at the other end of the panel. Re-attach the small tube to
the broad heads of the plastic plug to maintain the uniform appearance of the

TO FIND YOUR PANELS BRAND NAME: If you don’t know or are not sure which panel
you have, we can help you. Safely go up on your roof and look at the large
header tube that your pvc pool pipe connects to. Most panels will have a serial
number and brand name on the header. The Heliocol panels Header tube has the
Heliocol name and clock symbols stamped into the panel and the small riser
tubes are not connected to each other. &nbsp;See second image for what to look for.</li></ul>

This kit is used to repair up to 6 damaged riser tubes. These plugs will only work on heliocol or sunstar solar panels with header ribs. Simply cut the damaged riser tube flush with the top header, insert the rubber sleeve and push the plug into the sleeve. Repeat the process for the same damaged riser tube at the bottom header. Replace riser to maintain the uniform appearance of the panel.
