[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this set!  He can spend hours rearranging it to see if his setup will work.  It really allows him to use his creativity and no time playing is the same!  He's wanting to study engineering as a career, so this set was right up his alley.  Just make sure you set it up on a carpeted surface or you will be moving a lot of furniture to look for marbles when they hit the floor.  Other than that, it's great!

I have since bought several others for them to build and play with.  I highly recommend this product for your children.

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 7 year old as more of a thinking game for her, working on forethought and strategy. This game is so cool and super unique. Unlike any other game I've gotten before. It definitely takes a lot of patience, but it's really cool that you can make the marble course big or small, and in countless configurations.

Very unique and challenging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son's (6 years old & 5 years old) LOVED this toy! They had so much fun making obstacle courses to have the balls bounce through. The trampolines are very bouncy and I love that you can turn and angle them different ways. They played for hours. My husband joined right in with them. Definitely a game you can involve the whole family in. Plus it is a stem game which helps boost their critical thinking...in this case about science & gravity.

Fun and unique!

The kids love to set it all up and try new positions to bounce them off of. It's super easy to set up and take down and anyone can do it. Can't wait to try other sets.

Hours of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my 7 year old daughter. She loves it. So did the rest of the family. My 15 year old said “This is the best present I never got” LOL. The whole family was playing it the night after she received it for her birthday.

Very fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept of this is great, but it takes some trial and error. The instructions are purely for assembling the pieces and parts, but don't show you how to to set it up into an actual usable course. The box shows one possible set up on the back, but even that requires a bit of trail and error. In hindsight, unless there was a printed map to set this up on with exact locations, that's to be expected. I find the trail and error part of the fun. Kids with short attention spans, or who get easily frustrated, may not. I tried it both on tile floor and carpet, and it seems to work fine either way. I love the musicality of the metal balls on the trampolines. I'm not sure how long it will hold my son's attention on its own, but do appreciate that there are add on kits available to extend the play value. Overall, it's definitely a fun concept and something different to play with.

Fun, but takes some trial and error

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My preteen grandson spends a lot of time on his cell phone when he visits. Hoping to spend some quality time with him, I suggested we try out this Boomtrix® Showdown by Goliath - Kinetic Metal Ball Chain Reaction Stunt Kit.
Before we started, I had him do some research on kinetic energy so he would understand the concept behind how the Stunt Kit worked. 
We set up the pieces according to the diagram on the instructions, expecting the balls to bounce off the first two rubber Trampolines, go through the Cardboard Stunt Ring, travel through the Booster and bounce off the remaining Trampolines, ultimately landing in the Firework Goal.
 Our first attempt fell short of our goal. Way short. We quickly came to understand the importance of exact placement. 
I had to get dinner started, so I left my grandson on his own to try and figure out where each piece had to be placed to accomplish the end goal. It took about 15 minutes before he started showing signs of frustration at not being able to get the balls to land where they needed to land. After half an hour, he had figured out how to get the balls as far as the Stunt Ring, but his frustration over not getting the balls to pass through the ring had reached its peak.  After guiding him through some deep breathing techniques to settle him down, I suggested we put the Boomtrix® Showdown by Goliath - Kinetic Metal Ball Chain Reaction Stunt Kit away and try again the next time he visited.
While the game is educational and interesting in concept, it is not easily mastered.
I would recommend it with a cautionary note that the time spent playing with it will not be without some frustration. However, once mastered, it will have taught the importance of patience and perseverance while providing a child with the confidence that comes with accomplishing a difficult task.
