I gave this French version to my High Schooler who is taking French and she's played with some of her classmate friends. It makes it an even bigger challenge and they've had so much fun with it.

My husband speaks French fluently and I only speak a little so it added to the giggles. The cards are sturdy and hold up to a rough crowd.

There's a misery index and if you guess the worst situation correctly then you keep it. Whoever correctly guesses 10 worst situations wins the game. We had a game night and instead of playing a few different games we played “Stuff Happens” the entire night. It is so much fun!

It can lead to some interesting discussion about people's priorities and values. It is hilarious to play with a serious competitor because the "correct answers" are based on other people's opinions. I enjoy listening to my high school students play this to see what their responses are.

Both my kids are trying to learn along with me so as we laughed at each situation and decided which was worse than the next we laughed at each picture and played along.  In general, it was a bit sad but still fun to play.

Funny and entertaining game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stuff Happens is a cute card game to play with friends and family. You rank cards on different scenarios as to what is worse. This version is in French, so it was good practice for my teenager who is learning French. It also was very funny.

The idea of the game is good, but the points on the cards are ridiculous. Having a date and going there without his wallet is almost at the same level as getting horned by a bull...
