Durability

Handle Design

Can be ergonomic, but also feels flimsy to some users.

Offered at a lower cost compared to similar products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a hard time finding the hardwood spoons on other websites but was able to locate it on Walmart.com.

walmart.com

These stirring spoons are made of unfinished wood. They will need to be seasoned with mineral oil or some other food grade finish.

unfinished, bare wood

Paid a little over $2, get what you pay for here. The first wash the handles warped like an S. I tried to use mineral oil and a press to straighten, which worked until the oil wears off. I can't complain too much, they were so inexpensive. If you do not use them often this is an easy buy. However, if you are an Italian cook, don't expect your old family's wooden spoons.

Realistic Review

These have a strange chemical smell to them, like a formaldehyde. Not comfortable putting these in my food. I've been washing them multiple times and it seems to diminish little by little.

Chemical smell that's hard to wash off

way overpriced walmart carries 4 spoons for .88 a much better value ---1 or 2 spoons in each set were smaller diameter that the others and a different material.... cheaper wood .just not worth the price difference.

quality control needed

Inexpensive lot of 3 wooden spoons. These spoons didn't last me very long breaking over a few months. I found them cheaply made and not for stirring thicker, heavier foods. I needed sturdier wooden spoons. Depends on personal usage

Inexpensive Wooden Spoons

Never buy these spoons, they are made of poor quality wood and smells like a chemical which makes it unusable. Thrown it in trash.

Poor Quality and Smells Bad

These are not good. One of them broke while cooking, and I was terrified that wood splinters have fallen in the pot! They're not smooth and I wonder if wood particles are mixed with food. I discarded of them.

Not good, not smooth, they brake

I bought these, fully confident that they were, "Wooden Spoons" as advertised. Today, when using them on a hot pan, to help turn meat over, one melted and got white paint in the pan. They look like cheap plastic that was painted white.

DO NOT PURCHASE FOR HOT FOOD PREP!!!
