Typical glow times are 6-8 hours after receiving a day's worth of direct exposure from the sun. The Luna rocks look real because they are cast from actual stones found in local quarries. Use the Luna stepping stones as pavers to design a patterned slab. These stones are hollow so you can hide keys or other trinkets for emergencies. Not only are these rocks attractive, they are incredibly durable. Unlike actual stone which can crack after hard impacts or extended use, the Luna stones will take abuse and never break. They didn't even glow a little bit in the dark.  I had them in full sunshine. I don't know if it's just a faulty design or what but I should've paid attention to the reviews and believed them. So many times when you read stuff you just think people don't know how to make things work properly. Boy was I wrong!
