I love this brush! I was reluctant to buy it, because it costs so much less than other similar brushes. I bought the first one a few months ago, use it every day, and it works! It keeps my fine, thin hair sleek and in place. I just bought another one to carry in my purse. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good, quality brush with natural bristles.

Perfect bristles for smooth sleek hairdos, mom approved for toddlers. Way better than the shein brushes or baby brushes when you need the hairs to be flat and sleek with no gaps. Bristles are bendable so not too harsh on the hair, see photo attached

Perfect

I have used quite a few different boar brushes over the years and it really depends on what you are looking for whether it will work good for you or not.  For instance this one is medium stiffness which works good for thin hair, or if you only want to do the top layer. If you have thick or curly hair it will only do the outer layer, unless you brush underneath, and/or in layers. 
-It is very well made and sturdy. 
-The handle is thick and shaped so it is comfortable to hold. 
-The bristles are all firmly attached and not falling out like some lower quality ones. 
-You can use it damp and it does not stink (I never thought of that before I tried Wet brand and their combo bristle brush smells rank if you get it wet, kinda ironic but very gross). 
-Not only does it help un frizz when dry it does well when hair is damp it has less breakage than some other options.  
Overall it is definitely a nice brush that I would recommend if you are in the market for them.

Great for smoothing out

This brush is perfect in every way possible- I love it and you will too. This is not the cheap stiff pull out your hair brush-these protect your hair with bristles that are designed to not pull out your hair. Your hair makes you look beautiful to others so protect your hair-buy this brush.

Best Brush to comb your hair and protect it too.

The ONLY reason that I did not give this 5 stars is that I was expecting the bristles to be closer to standard length. The bristles on this particular brush are approximately 0.35" rather than 0.5" - 0.75" long. This makes it an ideal finishing/touch-up brush. I was looking for a standard length bristle to deal with wigs. My intended uses for a boar bristle brush required standard-length bristles so that I could effortlessly tame the unruly tips of some well-worn synthetic hair. However, after realizing that I couldn't make it work as I had intended I tried it on natural hair %26 loved it. I even have one for my cat. Lol.

Shorter bristles make it an ideal finishing brush.

This brush looks very nice.  The wooden handle is pretty and smooth.  The bristles, however, are so soft that they won't penetrate even my very thin hair.  If I push to get them through, they just fold over.  The brush just slides over the surface, and I could get the same effect with my hands.  If someone needs a super, super soft brush for something, then it would be ideal and probably a five-star item.  But for putting hair in order, it doesn't work at all.  My cat loves it, though, so it won't go to waste.

Pretty, but.........

I liked the size of the brush and it felt good in my hand. Build quality seems decent.

Unfortunately the bristles are just way too soft. I have thinner, fine hair and this just skimmed over the top without actually grabbing any hair.

Might work for a baby or toddler.

Bristles are too soft, doesn't grab hair

I read that using a boar bristle brush can help long 2b ish hair when it gets stringy, but it didn’t work out so well for me. The bristles on this particular brush are too bendy it definitely won’t untangle anything. It only touched  outter most layer of hair and it just made my hair puff up and tangle. I could be using it wrong for that purpose. However to smooth a bun it’s okay. Won’t help with bumps but it will smooth out that top layer of hair.  That’s the normal application I’ve known for boar bristle and it’s okay for that I still think it’s too gentle on the hair. I don’t have the thickest hair and it didn’t touch my scalp. I will pair it with a comb for a good detangle. I do think you need water or some oil or product to keep hair from becoming a staticky mess. I would like try a more sturdy brush but I will keep this one for one as the price is the lowest and I have at least one solid use which is smoothing . Maybe it’s one of the brushes that get better as you use it so I’ll give it a chance but it’s not a find by any means

For smoothing and not brushing

I was disappointed with this brush because even though I have very fine and straight hair, it didn’t seem to go through my hair very well, and when it was going through my hair, it seemed like it was pulling out  hair instead of brushing it.  The handle is nice, but overall I’m disappointed with the brush. It is very narrow and maybe that is part of the problem.

Not very effective brush

The bristles in this brush are way too soft even to grab baby fine hair. I have very long hair, and a lot of it, it just is baby fine and these bristles are way too soft to even grab/pick up my hair or try to get out an occasional tangle. 

The handle is comfortable and not slippery. The size of the bristle head is a great size just the bristles don’t work for my hair.

I do not recommend this brush because the bristles are just way too soft and makes the brush not work.
