Setup and installation are quick and simple.

Setup process is straightforward and quick.

Has a sleek and understated look that blends into the wall.

Maintains precise temperature in the home.

Operates and controls with minimal effort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was easy to install. You do need to charge up the thermostat before you can set it up, which did take a while. Recommend charging it via usb cable before installing it. Once it's installed it stays charged from your thermostat wiring. Was easy to set up. Packaged very well also.

Great inexpensive smart thermostat

walmart.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ease to use, no more need to adjust the temperature manually. If needed can do it remotely as well

Great product inexpensive

Keeps my home feeling more comfortable by running the fan longer to ensure cold air is properly distributed. I prefer the white frosted look to the stainless steel and black colouring of the more expensive Nest and its a bunch cheaper. Best part is that the Nest doesn't make a noise when switching cooling on/off like my previous thermostat did.

Great thermostat

When one of our thermostats went out, I had planned on replacing it with a similar one. My 15 year old son convinced me to not only replace that one with a Google Nest smart thermostat, but to replace our other thermostat with one as well.
When these arrived, my son had researched how to install them. While my husband simply supervised, my 15 year old completely removed the old thermostats and installed the new ones. They are working well and we are pleased with them.

Easy installation; efficient functioning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. Super easy to install. Works just as well as other models but this one looks so cool and modern. Loved it so much this is my 3rd one !

Great project, low cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a thermostat not being produced any longer. After it was shipped I had read that it was not supported by nest and thought I would be returning it. The article indicated it could not be added to either the google home app or the nest app and that it would not receive software updates. The one I purchased installed easily was added to the Nest app ( could not add to the home app). I saw it receive a sofware update. Nest.com indicated it was warranted for over a year. Overall it looks good is easy to adjust works well and was a bargain.

Better than I anticipated !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product easy to install. Works ok
Schedule is a difficult to access easier to do on computer

Good solid product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very difficult to set up if you do not have a C-wire existing in the furnace/HVAC system. Also, I couldn't set the thermostat on an exactly the heat degree I wanted it to be on. The thermostat would keep pre-setting to 68 degrees when I wanted it to be on 60. Not easy at all to use or set up.

NEST difficulties

I purchased this Aug. 20, Installed, setup with my account and it worked flawlessly. Then, the return window ended Sept. 26. Sept 28th, I noticed it wouldn't turn on the display when I would press it. I'd press it 5-10 times and then eventually it would turn on. I also noticed that recently when set to 75 during the day, it would remain at 80 all day, even on cool overcast days. Now, It lost Wifi Connection and it won't find any Wifi Connections. Even when there are plenty of connections available. I have a everything setup correctly with my Internet. I've tried all the troubleshooting procedures. At this point, I'm convinced this is a defective device or there was a pushed update to it, the day after the return policy expired and it basically bricked the wifi controller. $150 bucks down the drain. (I have extensive background in IT and have setup multiple smart homes). This is a defective device, it seems a common issue all over the internet when searched about this nest device.

Buyer Beware.

Unit's WiFi capability died within 2 weeks of installation. Very disappointed. Because it's tied into the hvac system, it's extremely difficult to replace unless we swap back the old thermostat unit, which is a major pain. Since this was a gift to a non-technical family member in another state, it's a major inconvenience and effectively negated hours of travel and effort to help improve their quality of life.

Google Nest Thermostat E smart thermostat, wall-mountable white unit with frosted circular display and slim bezel; energy-saving features like Home/Away Assist, Auto-Schedule and energy history are accessible via the Nest app, often used to centralize control for small multi-zone homes.
