Home Use

Can be controlled through phone app and voice commands.

Offers lower cost compared to similar products.

Can be precise and adjustable, but may not always maintain set temperatures.

I want aware anyone made a smart thermostat that didn't need a “C” wire to operate. Purchased this as soon as I did a little research on it. Had this for a week now and so far it's been great. It probably has more features I will ever use but it's just what I need. Recommend it highly

Great and doesn't need a “C” wire

walmart.com

A little difficult to set up with a heat pump, but works and looks great. Nice clean appearance and able to control remotely via app. I had a nest 'learning' thermostat in the past and this is much better (does what I tell it to do not what it thinks I need).

Solid Thermostat.

The features are great! Energy saver, senses when your home and has the option to turn off when you're away so you save on energy cost. It has a sleek modern design and bright display. It's super easy to install, just download the app and it walks you through the installation process and takes about 20 mins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an old gen 1 nest thermostat that had a battery die, and wouldn't connect to wifi anymore. This device was more than half the cost at a normal price and better than that with the $40 off promotion from Walmart. Although the screw holes didn't fit exactly nor did the wall plate, the wires were already identified and install was quick.

Replaced old gen 1 Nest thermostat.

I had to get a Nest thermostat because the other one was outdated. I went with not the news generation on the market to save some bucks. This one works great overall but I liked how the old one had a touch screen display. This one you have to adjust it from the side and it's hard to see. It was easy to install.

Get the job done!

Bought this in summertime, used it for cold for cooling worked. Fine worked well with my Google assist. Probably is when I when the temperature got cold and tried to put the heat setting on it wouldn't show heat. Don't know why maybe just one faulty item.\n So returning, hopefully buying another one, this will resolve the problem.

Google bought Nest. Google no longer supported my 2nd generation thermostat. I had to buy a new one in order to use the app to program control the temp. I liked my old Nest thermostat better because it was easier to control the temp up and down by turning the dial. With this new one, there is a sensor that you sweep with your finger and it is difficult to control.

Obliged to purchase a new Nest thermostat

Set up was easy and it looks nice. That's about it. The only truly “smart” feature it has is turning off/adjusting when you leave home. My previous “dumb” thermostat had scheduling on it for a fraction of the cost. Since Google has removed IFTTT integration there's no way to get to to automatically adjust according to outside temperature which I would say is that smartest feature you could have on a thermostat. I should have does more research and I hope I can return it.

Easy, but not smart

The setup process is ridiculous. The darn thing will not connect to my WiFi. And that is the main reason I bought this thermostat. An absolute failure. .

It doesn't control the temp..you set it at a certain temp and it always goes lower For example:it was set at 70-73 and I got up this morning and it was 63 in the house!
