I trusted Walmart by buying this phone. I shouldn't have. The phone was blocked by Verizon. My SIM card is not working. I also bought a projection screen already installed and a protective shell. After many exchanges with the customer service, I am asked to do the steps to contact Google, or to ask to be refunded for the purchase. I ask for a refund of the case and the screen, my request is ignored. Since 2017, the sale of blocked phones is prohibited in Canada. Walmart is not following the law.

Illegal sale of a blocked phone

So I bought this brand new Google pixel 6 phone. Got it home fresh out of the box took me 6 hours to do its first charge, which is a negative review that most Google 6 pixels have. Which I concur it does charge slowly. So that was the first slight negative thing. The next that I experienced is that the phone was locked and was locked to the Verizon carrier. I went online, and saw that Verizon locked Google pixel 6s are not uncommon. And while it is illegal to sell a locked phone in canada, neither verizon, nor walmart, nor the third party Canada Outlet Electronics was able to help me unlock this phone. So I had to return it, and would not suggest buying this phone for that reason alone! As the phone is unusable and there's nothing anybody (all three parties) would do about it.

Google pixel not unlocked...

This phone is not unlocked, it is a Verizon phone that cannot be unlocked in Canada.

Third party seller is a misleading marketer

I bought this 3 days back and it got delivered today but the phone is locked by Verizon. The Title and description of this products shows it Factory Unlocked. Very disappointed
