Router's cost is relatively steep compared to similar products.

If you have any slow wifi area in your home the router   2 mesh point took care of my problems and even of it the slowest of the two Google meat wifi solution it can handle my highly connected home (50  devices) and can stream 4k with no issues with my 150 mb/s internet provider

Google claimed it would be easy to setup and they were not wrong! Very quick and simple. I was so impressed with the setup and WiFi coverage that I bought a second set for my mother's house and ‘upgraded' her so she has better coverage throughout her house

Seamless   easy setup

I had a Nest Wifi Router and 2 points in a 3 floor house with thick walls.  There were still some dead zones and weak spots in the house which is approx 3500 sq/ft so I added Google Wifi to my setup.  Being able to connect these over Ethernet directly to my switch has provided the stability I was hoping for and they integrate nicely into the Google Home WIFI section.  I'd recommend as an addition if / when needed.

Good addition to Nest Wifi

i like these ones better than the new Nest Wifi. They have an ethernet jack that you can plug into older devices and that function is a lot better than any USB WIFI dongle. The new nest wifi doesnt have this feature anymore and i really dont need another smart speaker.

Strong wifi, good deal

Very happy with Google WiFi. Never given me a problem. I use Shaw as my ISP, and in the beginning I would have to bridge the modem Shaw provided. Now with the new modem and I upgraded my speed I no longer have to bridge my modem which is curious but it works fantastic. I have the main router and 4 Wi-Fi points, and receive excellent coverage. Two of my points are wired directly to the router through a switch the other two are wireless and get excellent connection.

Google WiFi

Since I have a lot of smart (home) devices as well as cameras, I needed a reliable network. Since I installed my Google wifi network, my devices remain connected and my cameras have finished freezing. I have about 50 devices connected at all times and the Google mesh network is perfect for my needs.

Stable and reliable network

If you want a home Internet network that will optimize itself, without intervention from the user, I highly recommend the Google Wifi.You can use only 1 router, and if necessary, you can add 1 or 2 additional access points depending on the surface of your home.It is very easy to install, it is very efficient and it is very reliable.

About Google Wifi

I personally have issues with my network about once a day.  My continuous ping to 8.8.8.8 shows networking issues.Resetting the whole network is a nightmare.  The setup of each DEVICE or NODE and it relying on Google Home to use the IOS Wifi Networking service to identify the WiFi node is painfully slow and would be soul crushing for Senior Citizens.  Could definitely use about 3 more iterations on usability / ease of use.  It needs the equivalent improvement of moving from Nokia to Smart Phones.  For a company with Billions to Trillions in profit, you CAN do better,... you know... if you wanted to.  If you are interested, reach out to me, I can consult for you on this if you want.  I am only critical because I know you can do better, much better.

wifi not bad, getting there

If rhe product is working right it is very simple to setup, however, if there is a problem teoubleshooting can be a nightmare. After communicating with support over many times i was still unable ti get one node up and running. Tried resetting many times and end up giving up. I finally gave upa nd they sat on the shelf for a year. Recrntly i tried once more to initialize and install. Two units appeared to be "on line" but again the third unit failed to establish communications although it worked independently. Could not reset to factory after many attempts. Returned units to the shelf after another exasperating experience. I have configured many routers and this is the first time i have been unable to get adequate support and/or failed to diagnose the problem. For the money spent you would expect google to be able to diagnose and resolve the issue. Not happy with the investment.

Not easy to setup when things are not right

Over the past 18-months the Wifi has become so unreliable as to be almost unusable. The system used to work perfectly, but following recent updates the Wifi drops out constantly, hardwired points often show as having the weakest signal, and speed is 10% or less of what is available at the router. There had been no change in my setup, and the performance of this system has declined to the point it will need to be replaced if Google can't fix what they've broken.
