[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this welder to fix my scooter which was composed of 1/2 inch thick cast iron. To my surprise it worked extremely well! The only issue i encountered was that the slag built up on the dirtier portions of the weeks site. I would whole heartily recommend this welder for smaller to medium sized jobs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first welder, and it is literallyeasier than soldering. Creates solid joints on 1/4"angle with ease. Couldn't be easier and I'm sure its step one to more extensive welding equipment. Price is beyond belief.

Too good and easy for any prive

i wanted something not to expensive and it works good on thin metal .i haven'used it much but i like what i see so far plus it's light and easy to carry.

Save your money! Regardless of other reviews, right out of the box, drive roller inoperable. If they don't check it at the factory, then what else don't they check? Safety? I waited a week for a pile of junk. Good luck if you get one of these! Then, try getting a hold of Costway about a problem, on there site, it don't even list welders! Its much more cheaply made than pictures show too!
