this tape is AMAZING. I sealed up a completely destroyed headlight with it. I would love to use this in all kinds of other applications to seal out water, moisture and air. Gorilla continues to lead the industry.

its good for Vinyl pool liners.  asthetically it better than the white.  with that said the white is considerably stronger.  im using the clear on a small hole.  in the future anything latger ill use the white and it will just look like crap.  oh well it will still dwim good.

My above pool about 1500 gallons for my children was not holding water. There were few pen holes from rocks because i did not put enough padding. Place tape on the outside as well as inside about 1/2 in x 1/4. You need to dry the area first. Then after you put the tape, you need to press hard for about a 1-2 minutes. It works well. So far it's holding water. I haven't notice any decrease in water.

I got this a few months ago to patch a rusted hole in my gutter. It is holding up really great so far, no leaks at all. I had googled best thing to patch holes in gutters before I purchased this and this product was recommended over and over. I'm glad I went with this, no regrets!

Works

I used it to patch an inground pool liner.  I used additional HH-44 vinyl cement for underwater application, but it has worked great.

that is like a film that protects the sticky side so you will have to peel that off before you use it however if you have to layer it or it's not a completely 100% what surface it is
 not flesh with the surface it's more just around it so it's going to end up coming apart especially if it does get wet but it does work well in water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product wasn't perfect but so far it has significantly slowed the leak. The problem might be my application of it.

As I have seen other complaints; i too agree that in NO WAY is this 8ft! The price per footage and thin quality of this tape therefore; is pretty steep in my opinion! i probably wont be buying anymore Gorilla products, because they all seem a little "cheap quality" at a named brand price!

DOES NOT work under water. It just floats right back up. Sticks really well to everything else though. Not sure how well it would hold up. Did not work for water application at all. Oackage is not clear. Maybe it works when there is not water initially. More like a glue trap for mice is how the glue appears. Very expensive too. I promptly returned.
