For the small low-volume projects I work on, this one is easier to handle, and does great. For the higher volume demand items, I fire up a larger gun.

I love this junk-drawer sized glue gun! I especially appreciate the orange color, which makes it easy to find in the drawer. The size is handy and perfect for quick household repairs or crafts. I always have good luck with all Gorilla brand products.

A little bit pricier, than others but I really needed the high and low temp settings, so it was worth it. It's nice to be able to adjust the temperature for doing different things and materials. Yes to no more melting plastic smells. The stand on it is nice and doesn't seem to wanna fall over constantly like most glue guns do.

Different temperatures is a game changer

What I like about this is that it gives you two temperatures. I feel like when you use these tiny glue guns you're constantly have to add more sticks. And these don't seem to grab and push them in enough to keep the momentum going. I did try a trick I learned and that is to take a drop of the hot glue out it on the end of the new stick and push it in and hold it so the old ones grabs it. It usually works but It didn't do so well with this one so you really have to push the stick with your hands to keep it moving. It heats up fine.

I am retired and crafting everyday, Sunday through Saturday. I had a full-size and a mini glue gun already, but I was frustrated by my inability to control the temperature on them… I was either melting things or they weren't sticking. So, I bought both the full-size AND the mini Gorilla Glue Guns…
Pros: 
- Dual Temperature Control! Everything bonds perfectly now!
- No drip nozzle. When I set the gun down in between uses, nothing leaks out of the nozzle.
- Extra long nozzle for getting into tight places.
- Glue sticks travel easily %26 uniformly with little to no assistance from me.
- Smooth trigger that promotes even flow.
- Steady, even, controllable flow of hot glue onto project.
- Comfortable on my hand.
- Doesn't get too hot to hold.
- I've left it on for up to six hours at a time without consequence.
- Generous cord length.
CONS:
- NONE!
I am insanely happy with this purchase and highly recommend the Gorilla Glue Gun.

I bought the smaller Gorilla glue gun because I don't plan on using it all that much
It works very well 
The only thing I don't care about is the trigger could be a little longer
It doesn't fit in my hand that well and I don't have very large hands 
I will get use to it and I am sure that the glue gun will do what I need it to do

does not heat up quickly! stands nicely but you go to squeeze the glue out of it,and it is hard before you can connect the 2 items together. Was gluing insoles into shoes, so they would stop moving, and it was already solid before I got the sole into the shoe!

It's great for crafts, small nozzle helps to work more delicately. it's been great so far. not expecting it to last forever, but a great little tool for all kinds for projects around the house.

This brand was voted number one in glue guns. It never worked from day one. Maybe it was a defected one. I never found out. I informed the manufacturer and they just had me answer some questions. Walmart  gave me a full refund. Then I bought another top choice - the Surebonder and it works perfectly.
